Democrats Distilling Down To Anti-Democracy Anarchist

Published by under All General Discussions

You can never predict what will be left at the core of a once broad movement when it comes to the ends of its run, but the Democrat party is demonstrating how history (and probably God) maintains a core of irony as it weaves out fate.

We have seen since their last (and probably final) ascendancy to power an amazing string of troubling behavior from the Democrats, which in turn created a mass exodus of support culminating in the political wipe out of the 2010 elections. Not only did the Democrats get wiped out in the US House of Representatives, they were creamed across the nation in numerous state houses and governorships. The true impact of this sea change is still playing out, but the picture emerging of the Democrat Party spells serious trouble for the left. Even in the Senate the Dems only barely held on, something everyone knows was only delayed until 2012.

Let’s look at the complete history of political incoherence that has culminated in the anti-democracy rage now flaming up over the moderate changes being passed in Wisconsin. From this context one can truly grasp the implosion the left is now experiencing.

In 2003 Texas Democrats initiated the desperate last act of running from Democracy to supposedly protect it. The foolishness of their logic was not lost on anyone but the die hard left, who really do not support democracy beyond how they can exploit it for their warped agenda. The true pillars of democracy DO NOT lie in how well one behaves when winning the votes, but how strongly one remains committed to the process and ideals of democracy when one is losing votes. It is those who stick with Democracy even when their votes will not carry the day who truly uphold Democracy and its freedoms.

That is why the Texas Killer D’s – as they were called in the day – were so aptly named. Running from votes or stopping the acts of democratic governance are really an attack on Democracy. Out of their arrogance they attempted to kill democracy and representative government. I guess petulance is also blind.

In 2009 when the last Congress took over the rampage against the rules of Democracy went into high gear. The mythology of Democrat Democracy were on full display as the Democrats used all sorts of transparent trickery to subvert representative government and replace it with oppression and corruption.

Remember the Stimulus Bill which could not be debated because it was needed to stop historic unemployment? We learned later it was not designed to be in full swing for at least a year given the sluggish and clumsy process of government procurement. We were told a lie to avoid debate. Those who short-cutted the representative process then also began the process of dismantling our democracy under Pelosi, Reid and Obama.

From there we were assaulted with bribes throughout the Senate to pass health care (see here and here), and the fiction of ‘deeming a bill’ passed when it was never even voted on – a pure and simple lie. A lie to America and a bastardization of our Democracy. It was not a one-off exception, it has become the model of the Democrat Party’s fall into an anti-democracy movement.

Now look at Wisconsin and see how the Democrats’ path to the dark side is complete. As we go through this latest phase, remember there was no way for the Dems to win – so they could only send a message. A message America is getting 5×5 (loud and clear).

First, those wacky nutjobs on the left ran from their posts and hid out in another state, repeating the stupid mistakes of the Killer D’s in Texas. As I said, one supports democracy in showing how to lose votes – and this is act of running away is not an act of democracy. Then came the protests, which are fine to a point. But you also have to recall how Communism and Nazism began – with protests that quickly crossed the line.

Democracy cannot be threatened by the mob of petulant anarchy. Even worse, those threats can never be considered or claimed to be acts of democracy. When the protesters went from voicing their views to threatening and halting the process of democracy they crossed the line between patriot and traitor. How do death threats against GOP lawmakers differ from death threats and later massacres of opposition leaders in Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia, Pol Pot’s Cambodia or Saddam’s Iraq? And how is the hatred of the Evangelicals by the left all that different from Hitler’s loathing of the Jews? The gaps between the far left and the enemies of humanity are shrinking to disturbingly small levels.

Gabrielle Gifford and her constituent were mowed down by a leftist anarchist who hated the GOP and was a 9-11 Truther. Governor Walker and the GOP senators are under guard now because leftists are on the verge of completely letting lose with their bile and hate.

All because the unions are being forced to share the pain of this recession. I mentioned earlier that the Democrats were never going to win – just like the Killer D’s in Texas had no hope of winning either. Here is why they were blocked in and failed to show up for the vote on restricting SOME ASPECTS of the collective bargaining of SOME unions in Wisconsin. They knew that if they showed up to vote the GOP would swap in the previous bill and they would lose the vote. So they stayed away knowing the GOP would separate out the union rules from the budget, hoping to send a message.

The message sent is the unions and left are truly confused and incoherent. Rich, fat, moron Michael Moore was out claiming he was fighting the rich – when everyone knew this was a battle between the voters and the unions. What the unions really showed was their belief they were superior to everyone else and did not have to sacrifice for the common good. And now they have confirmed they are not only too good to be impacted by economic realities, but they do not believe in, nor will they support, our democracy and brand of governance.

The Democrats have lost the moderate and independents who covered up the extremism burning at their pathetic core. In their frustration and arrogance, they have exposed their true values and beliefs. This exposure will completely undermine the movement, since it opposes what most of us stand for at our American core. When they decided to disrupt our democracy to protect their wallets, and turned to violence and mob thuggery to achieve their ends, they crossed a line that will not be uncrossed.

Prayers To The Victims

Published by under All General Discussions

Click on the image above to go to the New York Times story on the devastation in Japan. What we are seeing today is the truly awesome force of nature – a force we are regularly humbled by. I am truly impressed with the fact that the Tokyo skyscrapers are pretty much undamaged. This has been a huge quake and those towers are still standing.

Our prayers go out to the victims and their families. It appears the massive tsunami will have been the truly deadly force when all is said and done.

But for the BBC buffoon who tried to weave in Global Warming as part of this incident I have only one thing to say – you are a pathetic moron. Underwater earthquakes and their resulting tsunamis have NOTHING to do with CO2 produced by humanity. And to bring it up in the midst of this disaster is as cold and heartless as anyone else who looks at this incident and gets ‘green’ with greed and power.

Idiotic Media Tricks

Published by under All General Discussions

What moron thought this was a good idea:

Britain is to send teams of spies and diplomats into Libya to help oust Colonel Gaddafi, it emerged last night.

MI6 operatives backed by the SAS are to land in the east around the key rebel stronghold of Benghazi ‘within days’.

In addition, 600 soldiers of the Black Watch are on 24-hour standby to fly in and avert a humanitarian catastrophe as Libya erupted into a new wave of bloodshed.

Spies are no good if you point them out Einstein. And incursions are best left to be a surprise if you want to minimize casualties on your side. What a bunch of pathetic amateurs.

Unions “Bargaining” With A Sea Of Angry Voters

Published by under All General Discussions

So are the unions ‘winning’ when polls come out that indicate they should keep the right to bargain AND polls come out showing we need to cut jobs and costs in government?

LOL! Not if your bargaining with a sea of angry voters who tossed the big spending left out of Congress last November. While this is confusing for some, it is simple to understand. The voters are “bargaining” with the unions as we watch, and their answer is if you want to be stubborn, be stubborn on someone else’s dime.

Look at Michael Moron’s claim today from Drudge:

“Madison is only the beginning,” Moore said. “The rich have overplayed their hand.”

The ‘rich’ of course are all us struggling voters who pay taxes. Moron is so clueless he doesn’t get the point – everyone knows public sector unions only bargain with the voters – not the rich fat cats.

So the voters are concluding the unions are more trouble than they are worth. And that is why they have been losing members and will continue to see their tax payer cash cow cut off. Especially when they pull dangerous stunts like they did in NYC when the deadly snows hit, or like they are doing now in Hawaii.

Hawaiian Electric Co. used managers and outside contractors to repair storm-damaged power lines yesterday after its unionized work force walked off the job over a contract dispute.

HECO executives said the strike would slow efforts to restore service to about 8,000 Oahu homes and businesses, mostly in the Ewa Beach area, that were without power last night.

“We do have management crews out there to see what we can do about the Ewa Beach situation in particular this evening, and we will do our best to restore as much of that service as possible,” said Robbie Alm, HECO executive vice president. “I don’t want to guarantee that, obviously, we don’t have our normal full crews out there.”

Just like union workers falsely calling in sick in NJ and elsewhere I say fire the lot. “Bargaining” is one thing, extortion and negligence cross the line. I used to not be for completely eliminating unions, but I am now clearly for eliminating the petulant ones. Cut them to the bone and let them explain why they are needed. We begin ‘bargaining’ at zero.

True Unemployment Still Over 10%

Don’t let the latest unemployment numbers get you too giddy – they are not all that good. First off, 8.9% still sucks – as does the 15.9% full unemployment number which combines all the people not working at their full capacity.

The problem is that this long and deep recession chased a lot of people out of the workforce, so they don’t even get counted any more. If you look at the decadal trend line for the US Work Force we see that the low unemployment number is biased downward because the work force number shrank. There not fewer people needing jobs, there are just fewer people working or trying to work and therefore just not being counted in the equation. [click to enlarge]

The red line shows where the workforce should have been under normal economic conditions. The last census clearly showed a growing population – which means a growing workforce. But the measured workforce numbers (shown in blue) indicate a serious statistical discrepancy. The annual February work force level from 2001 to 2011 has actually dipped significantly since the recession and remains below the normal level.

Since the population has not shrunk during this period this means the unemployment numbers are skewed by missing individuals in the count. About 2.8 million of them (making this anything but round off error or statistical noise). When folded back into the calculation, the actual unemployment level is 10.4%, with the full unemployment number (U6) actually at 17.2%. A tiny improvement from January – but still an economic mess.

Deadly Incompetence

Published by under All General Discussions

Obama’s ignorant roosters are coming home to roost. The primary fallacy with the left is they are far more impressive intellects in their own minds than in reality. I am not kidding. One of the reasons the left despises the rest of us is the fact they cannot understand why they are always behind – given their superior gifts and insights. They are the epitome of the ‘me generation‘ and ‘instant gratification‘ forces that have corroded the American brand of ingenuity and determination.

They want it now and on the cheap.

So when the left actually have to do something important and complex – they fail. Spectacularly, and at times in a sadly and deadly manner. These know-it-all incompetents are so used to lobbing straw man arguments that when the challenge of reality hits they basically leave a wake of destruction built on their inability to perform as advertised.

For the last two years we have been exposed to this in spades with the massive screw up of liberal social engineering in the housing market, made all the worse by failed liberal government spending, which in turn did nothing but extend the economic pain by piling up literally decades of debt. The only answer for this train wreck is draconian budget cuts.

Yep, what we see playing out in Wisconsin is the continuing echo of liberal foul ups started years earlier. The dominoes continue to fall.

Obama is never going to survive his mountain of screw ups, built up by his legion of liberal egomaniacs playing god (and doing a horrible job at it). Let’s just look at some of the destruction his minions have caused – starting with the dumb-ass idea of letting Mexican gangs get hold of large numbers of assault weapons:

Federal agent John Dodson says what he was asked to do was beyond belief.

He was intentionally letting guns go to Mexico?

“Yes ma’am,” Dodson told CBS News. “The agency was.”

An Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms senior agent assigned to the Phoenix office in 2010, Dodson’s job is to stop gun trafficking across the border. Instead, he says he was ordered to sit by and watch it happen.

Documents show the inevitable result: The guns that ATF let go began showing up at crime scenes in Mexico. And as ATF stood by watching thousands of weapons hit the streets… the Fast and Furious group supervisor noted the escalating Mexican violence.

One e-mail noted, “958 killed in March 2010 … most violent month since 2005.” The same e-mail notes: “Our subjects purchased 359 firearms during March alone,” including “numerous Barrett .50 caliber rifles.”

This is a sick and twisted strategy that deserves criminal charges to be brought. Caught in all this violence are numerous innocents. Whose the idiot who thought this mess up? These same liberal leaders did not like democratization of Iraq because it cost innocent lives, but they were willing to let a river of human blood and death flow so they could track it back to its source.

Just horrible.

Not to mention the great side business these gangs probably set up selling the weapons to wannabe terrorists. This has got to be the dumbest, grossest idea ever concocted by a bureaucrat.

But that is not the only realization that hit this week. It seems the Obama administration caused the Gulf Oil leak to be much worse than it had to be by letting another inexperienced incompetent over rule seasoned, career drillers:

For 48 days and nights, the Deepwater Horizon well spewed oil into the Gulf of Mexico, when it could have been shut down.

… the Macondo blowout could have been stopped between May 26-28, 2010. Given that the well was successfully shut-in with the capping stack in July, and that the subsequent bullhead (static) kill was successful, certainly a higher rate top kill would have been successful at that time.

That damning conclusion is from the federal government’s own after action review of the incident. It seems the person who stopped the top kill process from being completed was:

The New York Times reported that Energy Secretary Steven Chu was responsible for stopping the effort against BP’s wishes.

Chu is a nut job plain and simple. He is one of those Al Gore alarmists who runs around screaming the end of the world is upon us. All his claims in the linked article are without a shred of scientific basis – not a one. He is the classic example of a liberal who has risen through the tenure system way beyond his intellectual capacity.

And what about the prospects for an economic recovery under these fools? Not so good say Alan Greenspan:

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said a surge in U.S. government “activism,” including fiscal stimulus, housing subsidies and new regulations, is holding back the economic recovery.

A wrecked national economy, a risky social engineering scheme which wiped out the life’s savings of millions of people, a foolish and incompetent ‘gun control‘ strategy that has left hundreds dead and untold weapons on the streets, an oil spill that wrecked the lives of millions of people along the Gulf Coast and a mountain of debt that rivals the amount of debt created over the prior to 200 years.

That is what President Obama goes into the 2012 election with as his legacy. And I suspect that is just the tip of the ice berg called liberal incompetence

Shameful Lefties In Wisconsin Confirm Governor Walker Has Right Answers

Published by under All General Discussions

Update: Even more shameful acts here, as protesters in WI demonstrate why they are not, nor ever will be the heart of America. They are more like a cancer now. – end update

Every sane and mature person in the country knows the proposed Wisconsin changes for public employees are moderate and not an end to collective bargaining or unions (just a reasonable limit on the scope of bargaining). But if you listen to the protesters they claim the Holocaust is coming and Hitler has become Governor. You can tell when one side has lost when they resort to desperation, anger and violence.

In the petulant, spoiled brat category this Wisconsin protesters continue to win all prizes in all categories. The union label is getting a shellacking by the moronic thugs who keep imprinting reality unto the flowery facade of collective bargaining. Right now all collective bargaining means is mob rule.

A video has come out showing how a mob of immature pouters can morph into a dangerous threat against a man who simply is voting his conscience, promoting his views – as his is God given right in America. Watch this video and realize how the radical left has not only lost their minds, but have lost the support of all of us who believe democracy is the PEACEFUL solution to working out our differences in tolerance and respect.

No longer can the sad irony of the “Democrat” party be hidden. It is now an obvious false label blazing around this failing party and its unruly dead-enders. Good riddance, the stench is enough to know the left is long past its ‘use by’ date.

As you watch this video you will be immersed in the additional irony of a crowd of losers shouting ‘shame, shame, shame‘ – a clear reflection on them, their tactics and the display they are putting on. If they wanted to send a message they surely did. They were shameful.

March Open Thread – Where Will Wisconsin Lead?

Published by under All General Discussions

Folks, after 4 months of scrambling to get work I am now just swamped. My sincere apologies on the lack of posts but we are heading towards a major review next week and my day job is the priority when push comes to shove.

We are coming to a head in Wisconsin, as union pouters whine in the state capitol about how they are so much more important and heroic and deserving of the rest of us. Their pathetic temper tantrums are getting more and more shrill as the public turns their back on their ridiculous and petulant complaints:

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 33% of Likely U.S. Voters would rather have Congress avoid a government shutdown by authorizing spending at the same levels as last year. Fifty-eight percent (58%) says it’s better to have a partial shutdown until Democrats and Republicans can agree on what spending to cut. …

The partisan differences are striking. Fifty-eight percent (58%) of Democrats prefer avoiding a shutdown by going with current spending levels. But 80% of Republicans — and 59% of voters not affiliated with either major party — think a shutdown is a better option until the two sides can agree on spending cuts.

While these numbers reflect the national mood for DC, they also strongly echo the mood surrounding Wisconsin. If the Dems doubt this, I dare them to run from DC and stop the votes on the Hill. Go ahead, commit Harikari and get it all over with.

The Wisconsin Governor warned that small sacrifices spread broadly would be the only alternative to painful lay offs isolated into the ranks of government workers. The unions called his bluff, and he holding a royal straight flush while they hold a pair of deuces.

Not only will the unions and dems lose this battle, they will have tapped the last of their credibility and political capitol. This is more than a loss, it is a defeat.

Pouting In Madison Brings Freedom

Published by under All General Discussions

Well, it has been a disaster for the left and the Democrats as they put on a major pout in Madison, WI and as they finally face the reality of this recession. Their risky socialist policies caused the economic meltdown, and their failed stimulus did nothing but put us into massive debt.

All the while the hard choices of what we can afford versus all the stupid social experiments going on was delayed to the point we appear ready to drop into a second dip of the recession.

What a massive demonstration of incompetence we have been experiencing since Obama and the libs took over the reigns of power and illustrated how impotent the left really is. As they realized the Wisconsin protests were not working, but in fact back firing, they let their inner spoiled brat out and started harassing Fox News reporters. Talk about your immature screw ups.

As the Democrats show their views on democracy by showing us their collective, wide backsides as they run from votes we can all breathe a sigh of relief. We will not be required in the future to pretend any longer these disasters of liberalism have anything of value to add to society. They have the right to be deluded, we now have the freedom to ignore them.

Basic Difference Between Liberals & Conservatives

Published by under All General Discussions

I was listening to Rush Limbaugh briefly the other day and he was ranting on about the liberal nonsense of ‘shared sacrifice’, when it struck me how close he was to defining the basic difference between left and right.

After liberals screw things royally (the very example of F.U.B.A.R.) they go on and on about “shared sacrifice”. When the 2008 recession hit – due to their risky socialist schemes about home ownership and loading the nation down in bad home mortgage debt (which led to a near collapse of our economic structure and the wiping out of millions of people’s life’s work) – the answer was not justice and identifying those responsible. It was ‘shared sacrifice’ – as if the liberals who lined their pockets on that huge, unstable pile of bad loans where actually sacrificing squat.

The conservative model is success – the private sector and the entrepreneurs. The motto is ‘shared success’ – what liberals lamely refer to as ‘trickle down’. But the founding members of Microsoft and Apple understand they were swept up in the success of individuals like Jobs, Wosniak and Gates – and became millionaires in the process.

Liberals want shared sacrifice for their failures, but conservatives promote shared success in the American dream – based on American determination and ingenuity.

Gee, I wonder which one is the better long term investment??? Let me think on this a moment ….
