Hysteria Grips The Fringes
I have three stories that represent the fact the fringe in America is losing its minds. First, we have the well-worn Cult of The COLB who have now gone so far over the edge that they claim Obama’s Birth Certificate is actually forged from his sister’s certificate – which can’t be generated by Hawaii. And through all these insane mental gyrations these lunatics forget to ask the most obvious question – why get a totally different COLB to change the name on his COLB (which is not the reason de jour for the forgery to exist). This Cult pulls from both the left and right fringes.
The second story is about a violent act by the far left, animal lovers who risk killing humans to stop research using animals:
The police and federal authorities are investigating firebombings at the homes of two researchers at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
The attacks, which the university described as “antiscience violence,†occurred nearly simultaneously before dawn on Saturday, just days after the police in Santa Cruz discovered pamphlets in a coffee shop warning of attacks against “animal abusers everywhere.†The pamphlets included the names, addresses and other personal information of several researchers at the university, according to a news release put out on Friday by the university.
About 5:30 a.m. Saturday, two small bombs ignited outside the researchers’ homes. In one of the attacks, a vehicle was destroyed in a faculty member’s driveway. At the second residence, a two-story home near the university’s front gates, the fire forced the researcher, his wife and two children to flee the home from an upstairs window. The fires were quickly extinguished.
This is insane. And I mean insane like William Ayers and the Weather Underground insane. Frightening children with bombs is the act of a terrorist. Bin Laden is smiling in his cave somewhere.
And the final story is actually an echo of the first insanity laid on this nation by the Kerry Campaign aid Joe Wilson – we have another forgery!
A new book by the author Ron Suskind claims that the White House ordered the CIA to forge a back-dated, handwritten letter from the head of Iraqi intelligence to Saddam Hussein.
Sorry, but after the lie about a forged Niger document on Yellow Cake Uranium was shown to be false I don’t think anyone outside the 9-11 Truthers is going to buy this one.
All these people are nuts, and there are too many fruitcakes in the news media giving them legitimacy. This is why Americans are running to the center in politics this year. The fringes have gone over the edge and there is no way we will let them run this country, ever.
Update: Make that four kooks, though this one falls into the category of “when the science data turns on you, insult the opposition”. Check out how childish this guy is and realize he runs a national research center. Our nation is running into trouble, but not because of the big corporations, it is because we have the B-Ark types running the government.
It is scary how crazy some of these people are and that people actually take them seriously.
I must have missed that one. I thought everyone had concluded that those were forgeries.
Ask yourself .. just how would profit the most by having a document describing Mohammad Atta training in Iraq prior to 9/11 ?
It certainly wouldn’t be the Bush Administration, who would be toasted by the 9/11 commission for missing such a document.
One thing we must do is hold the eco-nuts’ feet to the fire. For years they screamed about the earth turning into an ice ball. More recently the clarion call has been holes in the ozone layer, anthropogenic carbon gluts and the planet “having a fever”. Global warming, in other words. Now that the data on global warming and the dire predictions are beginning to look like so much foolishness, the eco-nuts are trying to change the subject by glomming on to “climate change” which is, of course, a much more nebulous thing to pin down since it covers all variations in climate everywhere.
Don’t let them get away with it– bring them back on point by confining the debate to their hysteria regarding global warming.
I guess I should have read all that 4th link, but after the first 2 paragraphs it was so obvious that he was a fruitcake, I just didn’t bother.
The other three, just far lefties.

Yes, I saw that. I was surprised at the reference, but I noticed Insider is not buying into Techdude’s arguments yet. And I cannot help but notice Pam Geller at Atlas Shrugs is not getting into this at all anymore.
Seems some people are wising up.
