Will President Obama Invoke Enhanced Interrogation Techniques

Published by at 11:09 pm under All General Discussions,Bin Laden/GWOT

I produced a long and involved post this morning in the terror suspects arrested in New York and Colorado, and pondered how the administration could be considering investigating the defenders of this nation as a terrorist plot unfolds here at home.  Seems politically stupid to me.

But now we learn the arrests may not have foiled the terrorist plot, and there are other concerns out there:

Federal agents from Denver and New York to Pakistan are still racing to solve an Al Qaeda bomb plot, unsure whether the arrest of three suspects has put the terror gang out of business.

Police sources said probers still have up to eight suspects in New York and several in Denver under watch in what Assistant Attorney General David Kris called “an ongoing and fast-paced investigation” of the first Al Qaeda cell uncovered in the U.S. since 9/11.

The NYPD accidentally triggered the arrests when their informant turned double agent and warned a 24 year old Afghan names Zazi that the police were looking into him.

What I want to know is whether this administration is willing to pull all the information possible out of these suspects. Because one thing that might happen is the remaining individuals or cells accelerate their plans and execute some attacks and kill scores of Americans.

Then America will question this administration and the naive far left like they have never been questioned before.

AJ, even before reading this… for several days now… I have had a sense of impending doom like never before. It is dominating my every thought.

“May the wolf pass by the door…” — at least for now. But I think we all know the wolf is coming.

“Nobody is above the law”, sayeth Obama.

The problem is that we only know nobody is above the law after, AFTER, the crime is committed. What Obama doesn’t understand, knowing before helps keep people alive. Dear President Bush, oh do I miss, simple minded logic.

    Sally Vee,

I have been having the same feelings.

What we’re feeling is simply the growing realization that there is absolutely no hope that this Presidency will be anything other than an absolute disaster on all fronts for this nation.

I’ve had it since last November, the 8th I think it was.

But I’ve started to get used to it.

Imho, the feeling of doom could be coming from:

Iran having a nuclear bomb NOW-what blackmail cometh?

Israel being sold down the river
Poles being sold down the river
South and Latin America being sold down the River
Afghanistan being sold down the river and with it all our troops’ sacrifices
CIA agents being sold down the river (who would dare interrogate any terrorist now with the threats of prosecution??)
    America being bankrupted

    Russia being empowered
    Iran being empowered
    Venezuela being empowered
    Zelaya being empowered
    China being empowered

    Black Nationalists being empowered

    I’m sure there’s more…
