KY, IN & VA – And Juan Williams

Watching CNN’s results (they are buying into the exit polls while Fox is dismissing them) I see Northrup in KY with 37% of the vote in trailing 48-51%. I would expect to see it much worse if there was truly a wave out there. Hostettler in IN is losing 30-70% and yet CNN is not […]

6 Point Bias In Exit Polls

And people thought I was crazy (that includes me too folks) when I was using a 5% bias correction factor in the polls. Seems the exit polls have a 6-7 point tilt (depending on who you read). Experience counts.

Armitage On Fox

The Plame Turncoat has issued a statement he expects Dems to win both houses of Congress and it will be good for the country to investigate Iraq. What a jerk.

Useless Exit Polls

Here are the early exit poll (H/T Hugh Hewitt) which are absolutely useless unless we know what turnout model they used. Some observations. Does anyone think VA and MO are as blue as NJ and MD? LOL! Too funny. It is well known that early exit polls in VA are heavily Democrat and propably tilted […]

Dem Hopes Hanging By A Thread

Checkout this news on key (read top risk) 11 House seats by Fox: Fox News’ poll of 11 key House races shows Democrats leading in six, Republicans leading in three, and ties in two. These would be ‘need to win’ seats for the dems (which we know they will win some). These are also exit […]

Media Blows It – Loses 2006 Election

We were barraged by lousy polls for months, we had the liberal media carrying the DNC water and overreacting to DNC generated scandals, and now there is word out the exit polls are garbage again. So who will lose and garner the wrath of the liberal left if Dems fall short? The liberal media of […]

Did GOP Set Expectations For Dem Debacle?

I have a problem with all these “Republican Sources” saying the Dems are having a good day – why would they say this? What does it get them? Well, it does get the liberal media all excited before the pending fall.

Super GOTV News

GOP turn out is massive and leading (per Hugh Hewitt): GOP base precincts are turning out higher than Dem base precincts: MD 3% higher MO 2% higher VA 7% higher Fox is noting concern with exit polls in MD, AZ and VA – seems it is 2004 again. Excellent news!

Sabato On Fox

Sabato says: good to great night for Dems (if trends continue). But then he has been pollyannish on Dems for a while. And that is a big ‘if’. Same tea leaf signals: Reps hold Senate and lose House. There is no way for the turnout we are seeing to be one sided. Will the exit […]

Steele Will Have Last Laugh

MD Democrats harrassed Michael Steele and his wife for 45 minutes while they stood in line to vote this morning. And the Dems will be wondering why black voters will revolt and vote Steele in today. Serves the Dems right for Steele to have the last laugh.
