Dems – You’ve Been Cheneyed

Published by at 9:28 pm under All General Discussions

What is great about being Vice President is you can be blunt, forceful and caustic and get away with it – because that is your job! From Lorie Byrd at Michelle Malkins

The President and I cannot prevent certain politicians from losing their memory, or their backbone – but we’re not going to sit by and let them rewrite history.

We’re going to continue throwing their own words back at them. And far more important, we’re going to continue sending a consistent message to the men and women who are fighting the war on terror in Iraq, Afghanistan, and many other fronts.

We can never say enough how much we appreciate them, and how proud they make us. They and their families can be certain: That this cause is right … and the performance of our military has been brave and honorable … and this nation will stand behind our fighting forces with pride and without wavering until the day of victory.

Now that is going to leave a mark. Cross linked at Polipundit with comments

    Cheney Fights Back

Sixty years ago, such a speech would not be necessary. People understood the need to put partisanship aside and to rally behind our troops. In Vietnam, I was told by many that they would support the military if our nation were ever attacked.
    That too …

Cheney should campaign his speech and take it state to state. Sing it from the mountian tops. The Democrats are the real LIARS!!!… i’m to old not recognize their playbook.

Anyone heard of the Rockefeller Memo?

Google it and see exactly what their agenda is. Mis-information for one and regaining power in 06′ is another.

Cheney’s speech has prompted me to donate (one shot deal) to the RNC. I haven’t given them any money since 1998, opting instead to donate directly to various state Senate and Congressional campaigns (fiscal conservatives/strong on defense).

I am very happy to see Cheney’s speech (I’ve been a fan of his since he was SecDef but have wondered why, as Veep, it has taken him this long to counter the Democrat’s blatant disinformation campaign) …

Political hardball is one thing…”disinformation” is a totally different animal!

  4. BIGDOG says:

I should have said disinformation…tx MaidMarion.

Can i call you MM for short?..:)

This is the piece I have on Cheney today:
    http://www.seixon.com/blog/archives/2005/11/marshall_rewrit_1.html

Joshua Marshall of Talking Points Memo, sit down, shut up, and take in some facts.

I disembowel Marshall’s continuous lies about Cheney, going through the timeline of Cheney’s statements on the Atta Prague meeting, and his statements about the mobile biological production trailers. I show that according to what the facts and intelligence were at the time, Cheney was not misleading in each of the statements Marshall claims he “lied over and over”.

The only one lying is Marshall, history and the facts prove it.

    Thanx MM..:)
