O-Bomba Blows – His Inner Socialist Comes Out

Published by at 7:10 pm under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

Update: As of 7:20 PM Eastern this audio tape has had just under 1.5 million runs on YouTube – the message is getting out! – end update

Update from LJStrata – moving this back to the top post. Everyone must hear this radio show with BO in his own  voice.

A tape from 2001 exposes how marxist and socialistic Obama really is, to the point he believes the Constitution is wrong and is a barrier to the government seizure of assets and income for redistribution to those who did not take advantage of this country’s opportunities responsibly:

This is a devastating turn of events for Obama.

I wish I agreed. My local newspaper carried an AP story on this today which essentially said it was no big deal and that a majority of the American people FAVOR redistribtution. Scary stuff.

  2. luc says:

    1. Considering Obama’s belief that Constitution is a “fundamentally flawed document which reflects enormous blindspot in this culture that carries on until this day” it is much easier to understand his association to Wright, Ayers and Khalidi. There is an indisputable, intrinsic coherence between Obama’s philosophy, politics, actions and associations.

    2. Would it not be ironic that the man sworn to defend the constitution of the United States think he is defending a fundamentally flawed document? How could anyone doubt his sincerity? sarcasm/

  3. Mike M. says:

I pray this blows up in Obama’s face big time. It OUGHT to….but with the propaganda press shilling for him, who knows?

  4. daralharb says:

Now that the election is near and the issue of redistribution is real rather than theoretical, polling is more even than the AP story suggests.

    (Rasmussen)

“Forty-four percent (44%) of voters agree with Obama’s statement while 42% disagree in a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.”

Nevertheless, a statistical dead heat on this issue is unlikely to prove “devastating” to Obama. Its best use would appear to be as “get out the vote” motivation for Republicans, since opinion is sharply spit between the parties:

“Sixty-nine percent (69%) of Democrats think their candidate is right, but 78% of Republicans disagree.”

Using Obama’s comments effectively against him in this last week of the campaign requires addressing the message in the best way to the right constituencies. Otherwise it is simply more words amid a torrent of words.

  5. Who gives a damn what the media thinks. We are obligated to defend this country and stop all tryannnical regimes.

We have allowed corrupted and communist educators at your children and you folks are arguing whether this will stick.

We are in deep doodoo regardless.

Are we the paper tiger Bin Laden declares?

  6. Remember Obama declared in his speech, The Declaration of Independence was a flawed document.

I flipped Not many else did. This is no different.

  7. MerlinOS2 says:

So far the MSM is trying to starve it for air and the Kos kids are in a tizzy over the release.

As a commenter said on another site, how does a person swear to defend a constitution they believe is fatally flawed?

  8. gwood says:

    I know this is anecdotal, but I took a drive around town this weekend, and this is what I saw;

In middle class neighborhoods, (which is 90% of Lynchburg, Va., that’s why it’s jokingly referred to as “Lunchbag”) an analysis of yard signs reveals that approximately 80% of homes have NO YARD SIGNS AT ALL. This is highly unusual compared to what I’ve observed in previous elections. Of the 20% that do have yard signs, perhaps 70% of them are for Obama. Almost ALL the Obama signs front homes that are in the low end of the neighborhood, value-wise. Is envy at work here? Could it be having an Obama sign in your yard innoculates you from the racist charge? Those that have yard signs also have bumper stickers galore announcing their choice. They have no intention of hiding their choice. Most of the McCain yard signs, where I could see vehicles, HAD NO BUMPER STICKERS ON VEHICLES IN THEIR DRIVEWAY. Hmmmm….

I could be wrong, but it appears that McCain’s support here is “silent” to say the least. This town votes 65% Republican every election, and there’s been no major demographic shift to change that for this election. In elections past, the signage has reflected the 65-35 split that the vote usually exhibits.

Could it be McCain-Palin supporters feel intimidated by the threat of being thought racist? I think the answer is yes, and if so, this bodes well for Nov 4.

I still worry, because in my circle of friends there are a few who are surprisingly for Obama, that said, I know a few libs who loved Clinton but who have told me they will not vote for Obama.

The fact that this tape has Obama saying the US Constitution needs to be subverted to redistribute the wealth is going to be quite troubling to people who actually know America has a Constitution.

The others seem lost at what people are talking about.

Lucianne posted this in her Must Reads today:

    “Ayers’ Weathermen planned “re-education”, genocide”
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJn5b8_weUY

Scary stuff. But will anyone who’s voting for BO understand or even care? Do they think it doesn’t apply to them?

  11. daralharb says:

gwood: Even where I live, supposedly an Obama stronghold, one sees very few lawn signs or bumper stickers for either Presidential candidate. In fact, there seem to be almost as many stickers from the last electoral cycle as from this one.

This election has become an existential matter to so many Americans that Americans have become frightened of one another, and in their fear, silent. To display one’s political preference is to court vandalism of one’s property by strangers or even neighbors. My own McCain/Palin sticker is magnetic: on when I am driving, off when I park.

The sign of the times is the absence of signs.

  12. Redteam says:

Listening to blurbs from O Bomba, I believe he intends to use the tax system for his redistribution method, not amending the ‘flawed’ constitution. Getting huge refunds when you never pay in, is his method. He will increase the taxes on higher income, more neutral on mid incomes and refunds to the low and no incomes. One hangup, how to get it to people that don’t file returns? Not sure how he’s planning to do that. One problem with this method is, it doesn’t confiscate ‘what’ you already have, only present income. That’s where the capital gains and inheritance taxes come in. I think it’s a big deal, but you’re not going to get the sympathy of the formerly MSM, they’re not gonna talk about this character flaw in their guy.

  13. OLDPUPPYMAX says:

This will only be a “devastating turn of events for Obama” if somebady actually HEARS about it! Obviously the MSM will cover it up, ignore it completely and attack as a racist, anyone who successfully gets the word out. Can the McCain campaign get this to the voters, clearly and forcefully? Calling Obama a socialist (and McCain is even afraid to do that) is a waste of time. Let Palin present examples of Obamas beliefs. What will happen in real life. For starters, anything you leave to your children will be cut in half by Big Brother. Half will be “redistributed” to those who have a RIGHT to it. This will wake voters. Telling them someone follows Marx is a waste of time.

    I think you are right!
It is said than some are worried about the abuse of power should an Obama administration take over in January; looks to me that many are starting to act cautiously. It is a very sad time for the land of the free and the home of the brave!!

Good thing this audio tape has Obama in his own words…(currently starring at RealClearPolitics in several places) because Ayers won’t work:

Ayers rehab in today’s NYT Metro section, reporting on a symposium on educational justice attended by 50 people in Manhattan:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/27/nyregion/27ayers.html?ref=todayspaper
“…While describing his views on education and social justice, Mr. Ayers hardly resembled the unrepentant terrorist that his critics have sought to paint him as while attacking the Obama campaign.

He urged one man in the audience, a principal of a South Bronx high school, to establish closer ties with parents in his school district. He praised students at a high school in Detroit who started a farm.

And he called upon educators to establish curriculums that help equip students to be active in society.

“In a democracy, we educate for citizenship,” he said. “Not for obedience of authority, but for participation.”…”

real interesting analysis of how undecideds break using four elections in 2006 between black/white candidates (MA & OH governor; MD & TN Senate):

Lets see if a person makes 200,000 dollars they should pay more and this will be balanced out by an increase in services such as health care. The person who makes 50,000, or even nothing will in turn get the same benefits. And over the next couple years or decades why would anyone bother busting their tail when the end result is the same? And there in a nutshell is the failure of socialism, no matter how many pretty speeches we hear on the subject.
