Say It Ain’t So Joe!

Published by at 2:49 pm under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

What a wonderful gift Joe Biden is to John McCain. Who else could underscore how scary it would be to have an inexperienced, vacuous junior senator from Illinois as president and faced with a national crisis:

ABC News’ Matthew Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.

“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

And we all know no one would be dumb enough to test John McCain. Thanks Joe – you gave one of the best reasons yet to not elect Obama. It goes back to peace through strength. Perceived weakness is what led Bin Laden to think he could hit the USA and we would curl up in a fetal position like Clinton in Somalia. Heaven only knows what our enemies would throw at The One!

    Lets see:
Bush had to make tough and unpopular decisions in his presidency… where was the support of the dems/librals? Why is it ok for obama to have to make tough and unpopular decisions and its expected that everyone support him… but when this president and the troops needed the support the most.. the dem/libs called bush hitler and called our troops mass murderers (even obama said that our troops are murderers.. along with murtha..)… that surely don’t sound like support to me…

Dems: Do as I say not as I do. The rules are for thee but not for me.

Seriously, how can anyone vote for this naif? I agree with Joe completely. We will have a catastrophic incident withing six months if not sooner. Any idiot can see that Obama is one of these idealistic people with no common sense. He will put his pet theories (which, BTW, have been debunked time after time) and destroy the economy of this country. And when we have this catastrophic incident along with the economy tanking with his tax increases and great give-aways it will be back to the 1930s and maybe even worse. Because if our econoey is gone, how are we going to find the money to defend ourselves?

Anyone who votes for this guy is either gullible, ignorant or hates our country. There is no other explanation. If they think he is God come to earth, they really have gone around the bend.

Al Quaeda is still out there folkes. Just waiting for the right opportunity. And so is Iran. And North Korea will probably start their nuke program up again. What’s to stop them? Obama? You think he would get tough with them? No, he would offer them everything but the kitchen sink to appease them. This guy is too idealistic and soft. He is so full of himself that he actually thinks his great rhetoric will sway the dictators of this world. His followers are so hooked on his words that he thinks everyone else in the world, even our enemies, will become hooked also. I have never seen such arrogance in anyone as in this guy. He has bought his hype hook, line and sinker.

I don’t know which will come first.

Somebody trying to test Obama or Michelle running off at the mouth and causing an international incident of some kind.

Anybody rad the column by Ralph Peters in the NY Post today? He lays it all out in fairly stark terms. As Rush said we can’t let this guy anywhere near the Whitehouse.

  6. Terrye says:

I think Obama is a weak horse. And I bet people like Osama believe the same thing.

As for supporting him, forget it. I won’t be supporting Obama, I plan to give him the same kind of support he gave Bush.

  7. Mike M. says:

Biden makes one mistake. He assumes that Obama will be around to contest the challenge.

Think about it. Al Quaeda is noted for its tenacity. They will keep attacking a target until they get it. The 1993 WTC bombing failed…they come back in 2001.

On 11 Sep 01, they tried for the Capitol.

Next time, they will likely use nukes…Iranian or Pakistani. Obama may be in the blast radius.

Time to re-read all of Tom Clancy…

Way to go Joe, just keep em coming

The “Troofers” will have a ball with this crisis stuff from this half-wit Joe Biden.

I am a bit confused at this point as to whether Biden is courting the “Troofer” vote or trying to drive them away.

Also, keep an eye on this story:

Obama to visit sick grandmother in Hawaii
    http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSTRE49K07G20081021?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews

Depending on how big the news is from API, this may or may not be a convenient time for Obama and bloopy wifey to disappear while they assess their options.

This could be Obama’s most important “absent” vote of his career as he realizes the house his buddy Rezko helped him build didn’t come with big enough … closets.

You are a pathetic, hateful, bigotted group of people. Your insistence on declaring loyalty to party over anything else is finally coming to bite you in the ass. You have the least popular President in history as your figurehead. I hope you are all proud.

I look forward to you being driven into political irrelevance for the next 8-16 years. For you have indeed earned it.

  15. Mark says:

    Breschau,

Thanks for nailing us. Perhaps you’ll now quit gracing us with your postings?

(Somehow we here on this forum pointing out how Biden made a flaming buffoon of himself and a mockery of his boss-in-waiting means we’re hateful, bigotted people? Your logic stuns.)

PRICELESS! You gotta hear this guy. I’m trying to find the rest of the clip. If anyone else has it, please post.

Listen to Reese Hopkins untwist BOs (and now Colin Powell’s) biggest slinky pretzel “Yeah but, no but, yeah buts,” into plain and simple enough language … even CNN’s Rick Sanchez gets it!

  17. The Macker says:

    Bresch,
“You have the least popular President in history as your figurehead.”

We have a less (9% approval) popular congress. And our President isn’t a “figurehead .” We can see what your views are worth.

Remember, in their time, Adams, Lincoln, Churchill and Reagan weren’t “popular.”

I suggest that your use of “hateful” and “bigotted”is projection.

Dems to hold Fannie, Freddie hearing รขโ‚ฌโ€œ post election
    http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/dems-to-hold-fannie-freddie-hearing–after-the-election-2008-10-20.html

Hardly surprising but it’s crazy what the Dems are trying to pull off here. Do they really think all of this will just go away after the election?

Regardless of who wins, every Dem involved had better stock up on some serious backside kevlar. Judge Judy/Nancy’s Night of a Thousand Knives is coming. Sacrifices, harsh sacrifices, will be made, and made examples of, to preserve the party proper.

    And Obama?

He’ll just keep hiring bigger and bigger buses.

Has anyone noticed how the media including Fox is leaving off the last sentences of Biden’s comment: (from gatewaypunditblogspot.com)

“Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.””

    This last statement is just….unbelievable.

Is Biden a double agent…for McCain?
