Non-Embryonic Stem Cells CURE Cerebral Palsy

Published by at 1:10 pm under All General Discussions,Stem Cell Debate

For those who are so math and science challenged they still believe Embryonic Stem Cells research is the next best thing to the Tooth Fairy, let me emphasize again the non-embryonic stem cell research from adult stem cells and infant cord cells is curing diseases today, while cells taken from killed human beings in their embryonic stage of life are still doing nothing!

Here is an amazing story about a young child being cured of her Cerebral Palsy by her own cord stem cells. It is an amazing story of how science can unlock the genetic code to help people. It is also another reminder of why killing embryos is not required to help those who have made it past their embryonic stage of life and need some medical treatments to better their own life. Her Cerebral Palsy is being cured by her own natural stem cells.

Killing other humans (i.e., embryos) to help the sick is just not required in this case.

The reason the non-Embryonic stem cells do so much better in all areas is because they are not complete blank slates. Embryonic stem cells are wired to build an entire organism, they have a lot of DNA to process just to get to the point of an infant with all the right parts and processes. This myriad of instructions has been processed and turned off in the non-embryonic stem cells found in adults and infant umbilical cord blood. With much of the complexity already bypassed, controlling and targeting these more developed stem cells to focus on a single issue – the condition on hand – it is easy to understand why Embryonic Stem cells face a near impossible combinatorial barrier to actually creating cures.

For embryonic stem cells, ripped from destroyed embryos, to work they must get past their built-in instructions to start building the entire human being who was killed. That is a lot of instructions to ‘get past’, and that is why – in my scientific opinion – there is almost no chance of embryos ever providing stable and safe medical therapy.

However, if they could some day get past this problem, scientists could work it all out on Chimps and Apes prior to actually requiring a single human being to sacrifice. Folks can see all my posts on this important subject here.
