More Evidence McCain Took Sincere Action On Bailout

Published by at 12:52 pm under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

You only need to read a few articles today to realize the screaming from the left about McCain taking the leadership mantle is all gut level fear.  First, from Bob Schieffer:

John McCain got involved in the bailout negotiations after Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson told Sen. Lindsey Graham yesterday that the bailout plan would fail unless McCain came in and brought balky Republicans aboard.  That’s what Bob Schieffer reported on this morning’s Early Show.

The other source is former President Bill Clinton, who claims publicly McCain was sincere.  Keep screaming Obamabots, the country is very intrigued by your meltdown.

Which comes first, a shortage of tinfoil on the left or Bill gets dubbed Liberman 2.0?

Thursday night – astoundingly, House Republicans tonite are attempting to commit suicide – not just for themselves, not just for McCain, but for the entire country.

We could easily see 1,000 point down day on the markets tomorrow. If not 2,000. If Republicans get tagged with having caused the Great Crash of ’08 out of sheer pigheadedness, the GOP will be dead for the next 50 years.

    Just like last time.

I should add that Congressional dem’s are just as responsible for the breakdown – but if a deal doesn’t get done, then the hatred between the parties is going to cost us the country.

We are going to see a mini-crash tomorrow, (barring a miracle) and if there is no deal, a full 1929 style crash on Monday. And once that happens, a great machine of destruction will have been put in motion that cannot be stopped by any government action. 20% unemployment within 6 months is a possibility, accompanied by riots in every major city. Those are the stakes tonite. Those are the consequences that the idiots in Washington are gambling with.

Lindsay Graham on Fox Now. Says there was never any agreement on bailout bill between dems and Repubs. Best nugget: Dems have inserted provision into their bill to give several billion (with a “b”) dollars to ACORN. ACORN is probably the most corrupt organized crime organization involved in voting fraud and intimidation. There is no bill. Rep. Barney Frank was on MSNBC wailing about Repub treachery and bad-mouting all the Repubs who met today with Bush. Chris Dodd said, “I’m going home” and walked out. My sense is that the Dems tried to bully McCain into supporting the Dem bill….

If the ACORN thing is true, we need to be screaming about it from the rooftops tomorrow.

Forget the criminal organization talk (yes, it’s true. no, you’ll never convince a democrat that it is, and the talk will turn off independents. So, politically, it’s a stupid thing to say.) — just focus on the fact that they were trying to hide BILLIONS in taxpayer dollars being funneled to a Democratic party get-out-the-vote organization.

That’s a scandal anyone can understand and be outraged at.
