The Cult Of The COLB Implodes
Yes To Democracy alerted me to some interesting happenings over at the Cult of The COLB. It seems the ‘esteemed’ Techdud has gone underground and those blogs who had been promoting his ‘reports’ have pulled them:

Regarding the evidence we have presented from “Techdudeâ€:
All information that we have received from Techdude has been published.  We have not seen the rest of his evidence.  At present, he is unavailable.  Should he not respond promptly, we will remove his statements and findings.  In the future, if we receive all of the documentation he promised and are able to prove that it’s credible, we will restore his reports.
Who is Techdude?
I believe him to be a real forensics expert because his email communication came from a user and domain name that I checked out. I cannot reveal more without revealing his identity, which I promised to protect. But I did vet him to the best of my ability. [Update: we also cross-checked his phone number].
The fact is Techdud was apparently the only one ‘forging’ in this entire mess as he cherry picked random normal anomalies from printers, scanners and JPEG SW to find Obama’s sister’s name in the noise. He was not a technical expert on computers – at best. The desire to believe too many times creates a situation where people deny the facts. This is human nature. Â People need to learn to stop themselves and open their minds back up when real experts start to point out all the problems with the claims.
Everyone’s credibility relies on noting and acting on these warning signs. As does our judicial system. I hope this is a lesson to a lot of people about who to assess something without falling for it hook, line and sinker.Â
It’s going to take a bit longer to wrap up the COLB saga because even though Techdud has been sidelined by Texasdarlin. due to pressure from the more sensible posters who began creeping in as the publicity increased, she still insists Techdud was right – even though he ran away and failed to produce the evidence.

Then we have Polarik still feverishly trying to fill the hole left by Techdud and make a name for himself – and the way he’s progressing he’ll soon be in Techdud’s hole – which he’ll have to climb out of, when he eventually discovers that there was indeed a 2007 “wide cross-hatched border” certificate issued in Hawaii for COLB’s and marriage certificates. There’s heaps of evidence taht it exists but he refuses to believe it because it would muck up all his theories, so he’s still comparing the Obama COLB with an entirely different DeCosta COLB. Crazy I know, but true.

Oh, one more thing – the latest discovery of a COLB for Barry Soertoro in Hawaii is being rejected now by Atlas Shrugs and the being watered down by Texasdarlin.

If you read the Judah Benjamin articles on her site,
which don’t rely at all on technical analysis of the dkos
image, the whole thing still makes sense.
Regardless, I’m convinced, the dude is a total phony

Of course he’ll do it if he wins the nomination. He’ll show a whole bunch of people after he’s demonstrated that he won’t be swayed by a small bunch of activists who want to bypass the normal legal process and do it THEIR way.

Ultimately he would have to do it even if only ONE citizen requested proof from an authorized official that his birth place had been proven beyond all doubt.

I haven’t followed it very much at all, but if Russia is going to expand, Putin is the one to do it.

With the small amount of info that I’ve accidentally picked up along the way it seems like Russia has felt hemmed-in for a while, and it will not tolerate anything at all that makes them feel less secure, so they must have felt that moves were being made to weaken their already weak position, so they set it all up.

The U.S. can’t and wouldn’t do anything militarily near Russia soil because all hell would break loose.

The only solution is via sanctions by interested countries, although ity might be hard if 92% of the citizens in that small disputed area really do want to have Russian passports.

The issue of dual citizenship will also come up, and he’ll tell them the (automatically granted) Kenyan citizenship expired just after he was 21. If he had an other citizenship he would have already relinquished them or did so immediately after being voted in as the nominee.

If he is not in the race for President it doesn’t matter (in law) if he has other citizenship, although he couldn’t be appointed VP in case he had to take over the President’s job 5 minutes later.

Actually, it is your good self that can tolerate no dissenting
opinions on, admittedly, your blog. Putin would approve.
Once you issue an edict, say on Polonium, if anyone doesn’t
fall into line, they begin to become the objects of slander and libel.

Fact: There is no cult like behavior in the readers of texasdarlin.
Cult behavior has three phenomena:
Absolute submission to the will of a charismatic personality,
A removal of contact with the outside world,
Acceptance of severe punishment for attempting to leave the cult.

Indeed. Since his mother was a US citizen and he was born on US soil, even IF his stepfather adopted him, (which there’s no evidence of), it didn’t end Sen. Obama’s US citizenship. Especially since his mother didn’t give up her parental rights.
TXD’s latest “evidence” is over two years old. You can’t tell me nobody double-checked to make sure all the i’s were dotted and the t’s crossed. Sen. Clinton’s campaign would have if nobody else.

Obama was recorded as having been a Muslim when he started at the Catholic school in Indonesia, but it was impossible for him to have been one because he was far too young to have the understanding that is required to consciously become one.

His father wanted him to be taught about the Muslim religion, which is why he was classified as Muslim on the school form, but no one becomes a Muslim until they make an informed decision about it. If U.S. citizens adults change their name (on U.S. soil) either with legal paperwork or informally, then the new name becomes their legal name (in the U.S.) but ONLY if they use the new name exclusively, so if young Barack was not exclusively using his parents’ name of Soetoro, then under U.S. law he was still Obama.

That exclusivity would not, and should not, and probably could not exist while young Barack was a U.S. citizen in a foreign land with a U.S. passport because he could not leave Indonesia on his original ‘Obama’ passport, so he was “known as” Soetoro, rather than actually being Soetoro.

In any case, Indonesian law (even if it was identical to U.S. law in relation to name changes) had no bearing on his status in U.S. law unless special U.S. paperwork was prepared for him in Indonesia, so in my opinion Obama told it like it really WAS in law.
