Mahdi Army Targets Iraqi Shiite Leaders?

Published by at 12:02 pm under All General Discussions,Iraq,Sadr/Mahdi Army

If Sadr does have control of his Mahdi Army then he is in deep trouble in Iraq because Mhis forces have targeted and attacked a major Shiite center – basically completing his path from opposition leader to traitor and enemy of Iraq:

A missile struck the central Baghdad headquarters of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council on Monday, said an official for the party, which is the main rival of cleric Moqtada al-Sadr for control of Shi’ite areas.

Sadr’s Mehdi Army fighters have launched missile and mortar strikes across Baghdad since Maliki ordered a crackdown on them a month ago.

Many of those missiles and mortar bombs have struck the Green Zone fortified government and diplomatic compound on the west bank of the Tigris river.

The Council’s office is in the Karrada neighbourhood in the centre on the opposite bank.

The Iranian provided missiles and rockets have shown ever increasing precision – so this may not be an errant strike but a full up attack on the Shiite council which have sided with Maliki and against Sadr. Sadr really is going to go for the traitor’s path. His father, a famous Shiite resistance leader killed by Saddam, must be spinning in his grave.

Major Update: Now it is being reported there was no missile or mortar hit.

How typically insolent for an interloping American imperialist to decide who comprises the ranks of Iraq’s loyals and traitors

There’s smething quite humorous and a little comforting to know that an idiot can still keep his sense of humor while staring into the abyss. Better get on the horn to Sadr, Truthy…he desperately needs to hear you tell him all is well.

    H2T,

you have already decided your lot as traitor – since you need an American defeat to cover up for that shaky ego of yours.

Ever since you admitted America must lose to teach those who disagree with you a lesson you made it clear you have sold your country for your ego.

I wouldn’t be surprised if you actually were someone who works for terrorists and runs around websites trying to insight a rebellion against our own government. I mean you do try and insight rebellion and promote treason – the only question is whether you do it because of the shame of your mistaken views or because you are paid to do so?

H2T – what motivates you to fight against your country? Is it your fragile ego or are you an agent of subversion?

Typical febrile fulminating by a doubtless war profiteer.

The word is “incite,” semi-literate Strata. And of course you can find nothing from me advising people to utilize violence against the government;yours is perhaps the guilty conscience of one who recognizes the quagmire and impending retreat with a resulting anti-American government in Iraq and a strengthened Iran is punishment enough for a failed war built on lies.

Unless you plan on being one pushing for the military draft which will ultimately be necessary if the Empire wishes to continue dominating
the Middle East. Maybe you’re anticipating another Vietnam War era with anti-war protestors being harrassed in vain.

Although I have no doubt that this was an Iranian built missile (the accuracy), I would be astounded if the Iranian’s had anything to with this actual attack. They have been distancing themselves from Sadr and trying to stay friendly with the Shiites who are winning this battle. This, from *any* POV. is an idiotic attack, since it can only serve to unite all of the Shiite factions behind Maliki and result in all out war against the Mahdi’s. Even American forces will be startled, because if the Mahdi’s have the accuracy to hit the Islamic Council they can hit the US positions at will – meaning now that those weapons have become a “real and present danger” that have to be eliminated quickly. Which means it is now imperative to impose strict military control over all of Sadr City, as was done to Falloujah and Ramadi.

This strike makes wiping out the Mahdi Army absolutely imperative, and it must be wiped out quickly. And given how embarrasing this will be to the Iranians – who must know that one of their weapons got used in a terror attack against a group people they were trying to stay close to – I wouldn’t be completely surprised if Sadr himself is “liquidated” fairly soon.

In a war like this, no crime is punished more harshly than embarrasing your sponsors.

There’s no doubt that Iran is using this war to improve their own weaponary.

  7. truthhard2take says:

One of seven building in Fallujah was destroyed in action the Sunni majority considers war crimes which only fuelled the Sunni insurgency. My question: are you recommending about 15% of
    Sadr City be destroyed?

  8. AJStrata says:

    H2T – I warned you, don’t insult the hosts.

    Your outta here.

So now TruthTard says you’re a “War Profiteer”. Wow, AJ, who knew you were getting rich off this blog?

And notice it’s not America anymore, it’s now “The Empire”. I think the Tard’s been in his parent’s basement spanking off to pictures of Princess Amidala a little bit too long. Or maybe Jar-Jar is more his type….

WHAT ISLAM ISN’T Dr. Peter Hammond

Islam is not a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system.

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components.

Islamization occurs when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their so-called ‘religious rights.’

When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to ‘the reasonable’ Muslim demands for their ‘religious rights,’ they also get the other components under the table. Here’s how it works (percentages source CIA: The World Fact Book (2007)).

As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:

    United States — Muslim 1.0%
    Australia — Muslim 1.5%
    Canada — Muslim 1.9%
    China — Muslim 1%-2%
    Italy — Muslim 1.5%
    Norway — Muslim 1.8%

At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs:

    Denmark — Muslim 2%
    Germany — Muslim 3.7%
    United Kingdom — Muslim 2.7%
    Spain — Muslim 4%
    Thailand — Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population.

They will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply. ( United States ).

    France — Muslim 8%
    Philippines — Muslim 5%
    Sweden — Muslim 5%
    Switzerland — Muslim 4.3%
    The Netherlands — Muslim 5.5%
    Trinidad &Tobago — Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions ( Paris –car-burnings). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats ( Amsterdam – Mohammed cartoons).

    Guyana — Muslim 10%
    India — Muslim 13.4%
    Israel — Muslim 16%
    Kenya — Muslim 10%
    Russia — Muslim 10-15%

After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:
    Ethiopia — Muslim 32.8%

At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare:

    Bosnia — Muslim 40%
    Chad — Muslim 53.1%
    Lebanon — Muslim 59.7%

From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels:

    Albania — Muslim 70%
    Malaysia — Muslim 60.4%
    Qatar — Muslim 77.5%
    Sudan — Muslim 70%

After 80% expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide:

    Bangladesh — Muslim 83%
    Egypt — Muslim 90%
    Gaza — Muslim 98.7%
    Indonesia — Muslim 86.1%
    Iran — Muslim 98%
    Iraq — Muslim 97%
    Jordan — Muslim 92%
    Morocco — Muslim 98.7%
    Pakistan — Muslim 97%
    Palestine — Muslim 99%
    Syria — Muslim 90%
    Tajikistan — Muslim 90%
    Turkey — Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates — Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of Peace — there’s supposed to be peace because everybody is a Muslim:

    Afghanistan — Muslim 100%
    Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100%
    Somalia — Muslim 100%
    Yemen — Muslim 99.9%

Of course, that’s not the case. To satisfy their blood lust, Muslims then start killing each other for a variety of reasons.

‘Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; and the tribe against the world and all of us against the infidel. – Leon Uris, ‘The Haj’

The only appropriate reply is “Who set up us the bomb?”

    “semi-literate”. Heh heh.
