Al Qaeda’s Sick Act Of Desperation in Iraq

Published by at 10:20 am under All General Discussions,Iraq

al-Qaeda cannot convince men to die for their cause and that means they have no army to fight with. So now they are going after children to die for Bin Laden’s foolishness:

Al-Qaeda fighters in Iraq are training young children as gunmen and kidnappers, the US and Iraqi militaries alleged on Wednesday, releasing a video of masked and armed youngsters.

Rear Admiral Gregory Smith, a US military spokesman, said five videos showing children being trained by adult militants were seized in a December 4 raid on a suspected Al-Qaeda base in Khan Bani Saad, north of Baghdad.

“The operation was targeting two senior Al-Qaeda individuals. During the operation two were detained and three were killed,” he said. AFP has no independent means to confirm the authenticity of the footage.

The videos released to reporters showed boys apparently as young as nine wearing balaclava masks and European football jerseys and brandishing pistols, machineguns and rocket launchers during a series of training exercises.

Why is it the SurrenderMedia notes they cannot confirm footage provided by our government but passes on fake and forged stories, photos and video of supposed US atrocities without a second glance? Anyway – where has humanity seen this sick tactic before?

Ah yes, the last time a fascist madman who tried to take over the world was finally cornered with his brutal henchmen before their fall. It seems Bin Laden and Hitler have quite a few sick traits in common.

We are witnessing a macabre form of capitulation on the part of our enemy in Iraq. In no way can this tactic succeed, it will only continue the “backfire” engendered by previous atrocities, as you have pointed out many times.

  2. Al Qaeda Hits Bottom; Keeps Digging…

Al Qaeda in Iraq continues to show that the depths of depravity have yet to be fully explored. Their latest efforts are focusing on indoctrinating children as young as six in the methods and tactics of being terrorists and bombers….

Our enemy is trully evil; and their tactics and goals don’t get anywhere near the media coverage it should. I didn’t know al Qaeda declared war on us in the late 90’s. I’m still mad that no one told me.

Because our media has absolutely no interest in being an information source. They are a propaganda machine and a seller of advertising. Their job is to sensationalize things to get people to look. They don’t want “dry” government explanations, they want emotional al Qaida horror video that attracts eyeballs to the ads.

And if it also “sells” the world view that most of the “journalists” subscribe to, all the better.
