Iranian Forces Enter Iraq

Published by at 8:41 am under All General Discussions,Iran,Iraq

Things must be going really bad for the Shiia Mahdi Militias in Iraq because Iran apparently has sent a good sized force into Iraq:

merican forces are tracking about 50 members of an elite Iranian force who have crossed the border into southern Iraq to train Shiite militia fighters, a top U.S. general said Sunday.

Maj. Gen. Rick Lynch, whose command includes the volatile southern rim of Baghdad and districts to the south, said his troops are tracking about 50 members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps in their area — the first detailed allegation that Iranians have been training fighters within Iraq’s borders.

“We know they’re here and we target them as well,” he said, citing intelligence reports as evidence of their presence.

He declined to be more specific and said no Iranian forces have been arrested in his territory.

“We’ve got about 50 of those,” he said, referring to the Iranian forces. “They go back and forth. There’s a porous border.”

This kind of incursion and exposure shows more desperation on the part of those hoping the US will falter in Iraq. The only reason to make this kind of reckless move is to stop huge reversals. The fact Iran is Persian and Iraq is Arab is not to be lost on the dynamics of these kinds of situations. With Iranian/Persian mortars raining down on Iraqi children (most iikely Arab) the region could easily turn against Iran. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Iraq could decide Persians should not be killing Arab children. That would pretty much seal Iran’s fate. Both al-Qaeda and Iran are making serious mistakes, showing they are getting worried and reckless.

And it’s funny how we have “experts” continuing to insist that we “talk” with Iran. I have no doubt that these people would then in ten years be the kind who brought up a picture like the one of Rumsfeld and Saddam and use it against both Republicans and the U.S..

I hope these men are not only tracked but tracked down and removed from the battlefield.

Put their heads on poles along the border to Iran, bury the bodies some where in the desert and send a bill to Tehran for the services rendered. But that’s just my opinion, been called evil since I was 8, and for a good reason.

Ah…something my namesake (Canute) would have done.

Actually after he routed the other forces and piked their heads, he invited the opposing king to come to him to work out some peaceful terms. He litered…the king traversed leading to the throne with the ears of the defeated soliders. (ie…”listen”).

The peace was the longest peace “ever”.

That is so stupid. What about the pictures of Pelosi slobbering all over the Syrians? You bitch if they do and you bitch if they don’t. Useless.

Those spineless dems who think of ‘talking’, and talking, and then some more talking living in a make believe world.
These cowards should talke the mullahs at their work, when they state their intentions of wiping Israel of the map, fighting the great satan in Iraq, but then again their brain does not comprehend reality.
I only hope that Pres. Bush order some type of attack on that regime, before it is too late. Once again, America is alone, spineless Europe repeat their actions the way they once reacted when Hitler became Chancellor in Germany in 1938.
My parents were there, the suffered a great deal, and I can only hope that the world does not make that same mistake again.
