Edwards Terrorism Plan: Send In Unarmed Targets

Former Sen John Edwards has become more than a bit weird lately. He makes Al Gore look sane at times. Edward’s plan for terrorism is to pull back our military and send in un-armed volunteers to stem the tide of terrorism:

Senator Edwards is outlining a new national security strategy that hinges on the creation of a 10,000-person civilian peace corps to stem the tide of terrorism in weak and unstable countries.

I kept thinking this had to be some kind of spoof. But no, it seems John Edwards wants to send potential kidnapping and beheading victims to where the terrorists hang out so they can be used to extort America for islamo-fascist demands. God I hope Edwards can stay in the race the whole time. With ideas like this he is sure to keep the Dems out of the White House.

Yeah, well I won’t attack you AJ; but I don’t care about Edwards, he’s a fricking BUFFOON!

And you can quote me on that one!

  2. DaleinAtlanta says:

…and don’t take that wrong AJ, what I mean by that, is I won’t attack you personally on your own Blog, about anything, and I’m not saying you agree with Edwards either, I know better, I just mean generically, but I certainly WILL attack Edwards, so let me repeat it: he’s a fricking BUFFOON!

Edwards: a pretty face and an empty head.

Maybe Strata is in favor, like Hillary and other Dem. phonies
of adding to the military instead?

  5. MerlinOS2 says:

If the stars aligned to the final choice of Edwards or Fred Thompson, it would be like Walking Tall the Sequel.

well maybe edwards will do us all a favor and lead by example. i’m sure he could round up 10,000 fruitcakes now and they could depart for iraq or afghanistan. al gore could buy their carbon credits and virgin airlines could fly them for free…….on the way over they could watch the 9-11 conspiracy movie to pump themselves up..

important conservative analyst says US has lost Iraq and best exit
strategy is allow alSadr to unite country

“But while the marriage of convenience may be successful for now, Abu Ali and his followers seem to have no intention of making a lasting commitment to the Americans.

“After we are done with al Qaeda,” Abu Ali says, “we will ask the Americans to withdraw from Iraq. … If they do not withdraw, there will be violations and the American army will be harmed.”

Sort of reminds me of Rush telling his engineer to play sound bite number 6 or something like that.

    Sounds like Team America….

  11. AJStrata says:

    Center,

You left out the most important part of the statement, where he says he would rather we part friends instead of enemies. What were you afraid of by that last line? Oh, yeah. It screws up your point totally

  12. colin says:

By the way, William Lind, while being an innovative strategic thinker (came up with the theory of 4th Generation Warfare), has been against the war from the start. The way you cited him, you make it sound as if he finally gave up on the war. Another conservative supporter has dropped away. He’s a Buchananite. He’s a paleoconservative. He never supported the war, and it’s disingenuous to state his opposition the way you did. He’s never believed in the power of freedom to change a country. You citing Lind would be like me citing Christopher Hitchens and saying that “yet another leftist has declared that victory in Iraq is essential and possible”. If you said “Conservative antiwar commentator William Lind once again says US has lost in Iraq, and the best exit strategy is to allow Sadr to unite the country”, that would be an accurate characterization of Lind’s point of view in light of his history of opposition to the war from the very beginning, but you didn’t do that. You made it sound like Bill Kristol or someone had given up on the war.

Colin: you’re so dead on; I didn’t even respond to this post by “Center”, because he’s so far out of his depth, it’s not even funny!

Lind, a conservative? Are you kidding me? He worked for GARY HART for ten years for god’s sake!

He’s worse than a Buchananite; he’s more like a Bircher, or some other type of nutbag!

He came up with one damn theory, concerning 4th Generation Warfare, and he glomed onto another guy’s theory about the OODA loop, and that is his claim to fame!

He came to lecture a bunch of us Marine Officers (my former life) in a class we were in at Quantico; most of us having just returned from the Gulf War; he by the way, has never served in the military, led a troop in combat, seen a single bullet fired in anger, and he came to lecture US!

At the end of his “lecture”, we basically, as a class, cut him to shreds; he was happy to leave, he had no credibility, and we gave him what he deserved, which was no respect!

The Marine Corps “love affair” with him has been over for 15 years, they know he’s a joke!

The only people that cite him now, are Leftist BDS-afflicted nutbags like “Center”, desperately seeking fringe “conservative” support for their Anti-American/Pro-Jihadi views!

  14. MerlinOS2 says:

Dale just think we might still see him show up in the Ron Paul campaign.

  15. MerlinOS2 says:

    Two Americas

    Him and human shields.

Man he’s really stretching the concept of VERY LATE term abortions.

    AJ

I would accuse you of sophistry but it appears “true believer”
fits much more. The Sunni nationalist anti-Al Qaida leader
would only regards the Americans as friends if we left after both forcing the Shia dominated government to bend sufficiently to
Sunni demands (the US is ineffectually powerless to do so,even
if it wanted to) and if it left immediately after helping vanquish
al Qaeda-which is not on Bush’s agenda even if it could
vanquish Al Qaida in Iraq which it cannot.

So you are hoping against hope to put it more charitiably than you deserve.

  17. thecentercannothold says:

I in no way presented Lind as anything but anti-war. Colin and Dale
simply resent the fact there were any prescient anti-war conservatives like Buchanan and Lind from the get-go. By the way Daley-boy, if Buchanan were listened to on immigration in the 1980s!!!you would not be having problems with AJ about the matter right now…

But then you would sooner give the Southwest to Mexican
revanchists than be a “nativist” Buchananite,so enjoy the
    giveaway!

  18. DaleinAtlanta says:

Frankly, both of your posts are totally incomprehensible, but if “you” understand them, ah…okay…

Good little boy…..go back to your room and play now; I told you not to interrupt the Adults when they’re having a discussion…

  19. AJStrata says:

    Dale,

Are you saying people who supported the bill and its provisions to get alien criminals off our streets childish and immature?

LOL! Too funny. Go home child? Sounds like someone is suffering from insecurity complex. Well, let’s just say pouting and taking the marbles home when you don ‘t get your way is proving to be the one last trick of the ailing far right.

But take a bow. We all want to thank you folks who allowed 100’s of thousands of criminals to victimize 100’s of thousands of new victims. You see, the nice thing about one-strike-your-out is you don’t need to wait until two more victims are created before you can stop these criminals and deport them.

But you folks have given the criminal endless mulligans. No number of victims is too great a price to pay so we can watch our glorious fence get built.

Someone should put the names of all the victims of illegal alien criminals who would have been deported under this bill on that fence. They are the ones paying with their lives.

  20. DaleinAtlanta says:

AJ: WHAT are you talking about?

I was addressing “Center” above, and his two rambling, unintelligable posts, something about Iraq, Al Qaeda, Lind, Buchanan and the Immigration bill all rolled into one!

I have no idea what he’s talking about!

    Do you?

I wasn’t even talking to you, nor addressing you!

    What are you talking about?

Besides, I’ve been DEFENDING you against this ass, on this thread, and others!

On another thread, he accused YOU, since you used the term “Islamo-fascists”, of lumping ALL Muslims in the world into that category, and I DEFENDED YOU!

And here, he accused you of “sophistry” and being a “true believer”; I’m assuming of President Bush’s Iraq Policies, because again, his two posts above, are completely and thorougly nonsense, idiotic, and unintelligble!

Now, if YOU understand them, please explain them to me, and also tell me how Iraq, Al Qaeda, Buchanan, Lind, etc., all tie into you being a “sophistrist”, a “true believer”, and a Bush Supporter?

This just proves AJ, you never read people’s posts, you just attack!

And I have NEVER attacked you! I’ve disagreed with you on ONE issue total, ONE; and it’s not even a huge disagreement, if you’d just stop being so darn shortsighted, and LISTEN for a damn change, instead of just sticking your fingers in your ears and going LALALALALALA!

NONE of us here, on this board, who’ve disagreed with you, have advocated deporting all the Illegal immigrants, shuting down the Guest Worker program, or anything like that!

And despite us ALL, telling you that, TIME AND TIME again, all you do is just attack us, call us names, lump us in with the Tancridiots, accuse us of being “hard-right”, “hypochondriacs” and bigots and racists; when the ONLY DAMN THING we want, is a bill that’s a bit more focused on Securing the border, taking care of the criminals, and making sure that it IS ENFORCEABLE, and not some damn ledgerdemain-Kennedyesque Fake-em-out-Bullcrap!

That’s all, AJ, and you WON’T LISTEN!

And your post, attacking me above, is proof, because it’s obvious to anyone else reading the various threads over the past couple of days, going toe-to-toe with “Soothsayer” and “Center”, in essence to DEFEND you and your Analysis of the Iraqi situation, that I was attacking “Center” above!

YOU don’t LISTEN AJ, and you don’t PAY ATTENTION! You just attack anyone who you think even has the temerity to disagree with you on the immigration AJ!

    Thanks!
