Reps Will Lose In ’08 If Gonzales Is Ousted

Published by at 10:34 am under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

The Reps better start showing some unity and support if they have a prayer of winning back Congress in 2008. For all those weak-kneed types ready to shove Gonzales under the bus let me remind you all that this will be an example of what conservatives can expect when the going gets tough and the purity police come out. If Reps plan to dump conservatives at a drop of a hat it will be fair game for conservatives to dump the Reps again – as was done in 2006. Stand by your allies despite differences or be prepared to be jettisoned yourselves. Too many of us non-Rep conservatives are sick and tired of the purity wars and how easily the hard right dumps its allies. Hat Tip to Mac Ranger for reminding me to get my two cents in on this dumb non-issue.

Thanks for the history lesson on the Sununus. I don’t know them, but I don’t like them. I may now know why, thanks to you. I do have to agree about a pox being on both the political houses, too. It is so frustrating watching those barking dogs try to accomplish anything. America’s business is too important for the likes of those pompous, ego swollen headed idiots.

This is another non-scandal scandal concocted by Democrats. You know, the people who fired all the U.S. Attorneys in 1993. And said it was an “orderly transition”, even though it had never been done before. As long as their media toadies allow the Democrats to get away with lying like Hell and fabricating false charges against Republicans, we will continue to have these non-scandal scandals. Face it, the Democrats are unscrupulous and play dirty.

Let me add that the Democrats will keep doing this stuff, as long as they can get away with it. The main problem is the Democratic bias in the news media. If the “journalists” aren’t biased, then the editors and publishers are. And the owners are biased as well. The only way to change this situation is to boycott them. And I mean boycott in the traditional Irish sense, which is to shun them completely.

If this is such a non-scandal – why did Alberto Gonzales lie – repreatedly and under oath – and say that politics had nothing to do with the decision when the e-mail clearly demosntrate that the decisions were entirely political?

Why are Republicans compelled to lie whenever questioned about their activities?

Gonzales will be cast out from the White House inner circle – he will be removed or resign as AG – and probably prosecuted for perjury.
