UK Girds For Christmas Attack

Published by at 9:00 am under All General Discussions

As I posted when the Democrats won the election and made the mistake of contuining their calls for surrender our enemies would try and send a “reminder message” to them to surrender the ME, and fast. One troubling sign in all this has been the increasingly bellicose Ahmedinejad whose predictions of a coming storm that would destroy the West have been more numerous and stronger since the election. A second incident that has worried me of course is the Litvinenko incident. Anytime enemies of the West who openly support Islamic Terrorists and say they are planning for taking over a country like Russia with force are found with traces of a nuclear material on them I find it hard to ignore. This situation, sadly, makes sense if the terrorists feel the West is about to curmble in a pool of fear and panic and succumb to the Islamo-Fascists.

It seems I am not the only one worried about a Christmas attack (before the next Congress is sworn in and on the major holiday for the Crusadors). The UK’s Home Secretary, John Reid, has come out today to deliver some tough news:

An attempted terrorist attack in Britain over the Christmas period is “highly likely”, the Home Secretary said today.

John Reid said that around 30 conspiracies were under preparation, and the current threat level was “very high indeed”.

He told GMTV Sunday that he did not think it an attack was inevitable, but that “the terrorists only have to get through once, as they did on July 7, for us to see the terrible carnage that it causes”.

The Home Secretary added that he thought the battle against Islamic terrorism was likely to last longer than a generation.

Mr Reid’s comments echo statements made by last month by Tony Blair and Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller, the head of MI5, about the rising threat posed by Muslim fundamentalist terrorists. Mr Blair warned that Britain faced a “long and deep struggle” to defeat al-Qa’eda.

The official terror assessment, posted on the Government’s Intelligence website, currently rates the threat as “severe” – the second highest level.

Reid doesn’t sound very confident that authorities can stop what might be coming at them. I would guess from this the ‘chatter’ is up again. It would make sense for the Terrorists to hit our allies and not us. They have learned that we can and will come after them. So they will try and frighten us by hitting Europe hard. They think that would give the pacifists in this country enough ammunition to surrender quickly. Doesn’tmake a lot of sense, but who says these people make any sense.

update: Hamburg- German prosecutors have opened an inquiry against Russian businessman Dmitry Kovtun for spreading radioactive polonium as he travelled through the city of Hamburg on October 30-31, senior prosecutor Martin Koehnke said Sunday. At a news conference in Hamburg, Koehnke said Kovtun was not yet being accused of the murder the Russian dissident Alexander Litvinenko, who died in London three weeks later.

The suspicion of spreading a dangerous substance in Hamburg came after polonium-210 was found on a couch where Kovtun slept, on the passenger seat of a car in which he travelled and on an immigration document he personally signed at a German government office.

Blair lyingly helped Bush lies his way into Iraq and destroy that country. Ask Robin Cook.

UK citizens overwhelmingly have wished their troops out for years,
and are disgusted with Blair. If karma comes round Strata will of course say it has nothing to do with Iraq even though the London
    bombers said the opposite.
