The Definition Of “Swift-Boating”

Published by at 6:41 pm under All General Discussions

The term “Swift-Boating” is now defined as the unforgivable act of bringing out someone’s checkered past and/or their own, damning words to challenge the political facade politicians like to create to decieve voters. So if you are being “Swift-Boated”, then that means you have something to be ashamed of! I am so glad Kerry and Murtha and the Dems have established this new term for ‘challenging the record of your opponent’. You know, if liberal Dems cannot even handle the heat from this kind of simple political challenge, it is no wonder they want to surrender to Al Qaeda! That kind of challenge Al Qaeda represents must be knee-buckling, frightening to them.

Murtha thinks his fellow Democrats are swiftboating him. The honeymoon is over already.

  2. For Enforcement says:

The funny thing to me is that they(Kerry and Murtha) mean it to be done unfairly to them. Unnfortunately for them, to everyone else it means to tell the truth about something that they hope the real truth never comes out.

First, another expert says in effect Strata is leading his followers down a “Iraq War is winable” primrose path. Link above.

Second, Strata has been piling on Murtha who has a clean record, rather than joining him in his quest to save US lives. Tsk tsk.

And I suspect Zionist lobby forces in the Democratic party
are behind some of the undermining, liberals behind the
remainder due to his strong gun rights, anti-abortion record.
Israel shivers at the prospect of pullout.

  4. For Enforcement says:

Ken, maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see where he mentioned Strata, but I will concede I only read about half of it. I didn’t really see where his position was much differenct from our host.

    At one point he says:
“His argument was that Iran was more democratic because it had more candidates for president than the United States.

Now that’s funny, I don’t care who you are. (quoting Larry the Cable “Guy) except that Ahm-a-nut-Job was hand picked by the Ayatollahs to be Pres. doesn’t matter how many candidates they had, only one was ‘eligible’ to win.

but back to Ken, who said:
“Second, Strata has been piling on Murtha who has a clean record, rather than joining him in his quest to save US lives. Tsk tsk.”

Now that’s funny, I don’t care who you are. (quoting Larry the Cable “Guy) You must have a strange definition of ‘clean record’
The ethics committee has rated Murtha as one of the most “unethical” congressmen.

And last but not least: You said: that Strata thinks ““Iraq War is winable”
And you say it’s not? So just a hypothetical question here. Let’s say the the USA decided it ‘wanted’ to win the war and Congress declared war. We send about 750,000 troops over with full air power support and every single attack on American troops is greeted with total annihilation of the city where it occured. I would say we would win, and you would say? No? Alllll rightyyyyyyyyy

    Are you related to Ahm-a-nut-Job?

  5. Barbara says:

I find it hilarious that CREW is “swift boating” one of the leaders of the left. Democrats eat their own whenever it suits them.

  6. TomAnon says:

CNN, I believe it is called fratricide. Hoyer is behind this. If it was so important now, why didn’t ya pay attention when Diana Irey was pointing this out?

Ken, better add another layer of tin foil, the Zionist Death Ray has been turned up. We know where you are!

  7. erp says:

The very worst thing that one can do to a lib is repeat their own words back at them. Even better, play a clip of them vocalizing said words. In the case of Kerry, there’s a gold mine out there that hasn’t even been mined yet.

Too bad those in charge of the election last week didn’t prepare ads informing voters of what they would never hear about from the media, i.e., the left’s own words.

Contrary to what’s being said about the last election, this isn’t just a “correction” or a business-as-usual mid-term election shift, it’s the end of the conservative movement. That means the end of free trade and the Anglosphere. It’s the restart of socialism here in the U.S. and a affirmation of all the leftwing governments in Europe and around the rest of the world. The opportunities for peace and prosperity for the oppressed people in Asia, Africa, Latin-America, etc. are now defunct.

The Middle East? Less said the better. Thanks to the media’s successful full court press of 24/7 bashing of Bush, fundamental Islam has won the war even thought they’ve lost all the battles . Ask voters what exactly do they think Bush has done to be so vilified. They don’t know, but they do “know” that Republicans are corrupt, have taken our rights away, indulged in pork barrel politics, etc. No details, just smears and innuendos.

Then Rumsfeld resigns the day after the election???? The smartest and most effective person on the planet is made the scapegoat???? Unbelievable.

  8. erp says:

Sorry. Even more unbelievable. Trent Lott’s in again???? I must get a new hobby.

  9. Ken says:

    Erp
Voters turned against Bush irreversibly when the Kay Report
was released. The voters, whom For Enforcement calls “French,”
believe Bush lied about Saddam having WMDs and embroiled us in a
    no-win war…..

Speaking of which, For Enforcement of Sophistry, since the scenario you depict cannot possibly occur, due to the public storming
the halls of Congress if it did so, your argument is that of a nut job.
And, as I’ve repeated to keep the warmongers in protracted check,
Russia, China, Iran and Europe would then punish America militarily and economically to the degree of rendering the “hypothetical”
    victory a real defeat.

  10. erp says:

What victory? My take is a defeat has already happened. The last great hope for a world of peace and prosperity is dead.

BTW – Russian, China, Iran and Europe can’t rustle up a fighting force. We were defeated by our home grown traitors, not foreign armies.

  11. Ken says:

    Erp

You mean traitors like Doug Feith who intentionally contrived false evidence in part via Tel Aviv/Pentagon conduits? Like Richard Perle who had the nerve to deny to, I believe it was Tim Russert, that
affinity for Israel played a key part in his warmongering? Name your traitors and I’ll name mine.

  12. erp says:

Sorry. That wouldn’t be a fair fight. You have far too many on your side beginning with one biggest of all, Frankie Roosevelt whose hero worship of Uncle Joe caused the deaths of millions and let eastern Europe be oppressed by the Soviets for 75 years. Talk about lying and people dying.

Why am I not surprised that Israel is your knee-jerk reaction. The left’s casual anti-Semitism is breathtaking.

  13. Barbara says:

Someone once said that Europe is the only area of the world that is anti-semitic with very few Jews. The left in this country is anti-semitic and has most of the Jews in their party. I quit trying to figure people out years ago. Either accept them or reject them but don’t ever try to change them because you can’t.
