Nay To Ney

As the details of Rep Ney’s greed and influence peddling (aka bribes) comes out I am struck by how the old saying “absoluet power corrupts absolutey” still applies. The Reps only took over Congress in 1994 and already we have major corruption scandals. Hastert could do well to promise to clean house and remind hie members they serve to support the people – not line their pockets. Ney wants to blame is drinking on his lies and bribes. Who cares? He was not fit for the job and now he get’s to sit with Randy ‘Duke’ Cunningham in jail to think things over.

    I don’t care which party has corruption. Get them all out of office. This is a good reason for term limits. It is too bad that congress will never make any laws about term limits. That is the opposite of feathering their own nests. They could make a law for the presidency to have term limits, but not themselves. What hypocrits!!!!
