The Democrats do not want to protect America because the far left base which has taken over their party hates America.

Jesus was absolutely right about hatred. It is murder in one’s heart.

They hate this country. They want you to die. They celebrated 9/11 — the Left I saw online. They thought it was great.

They are the types of people filled with disgust at ordinary Americans.

I think we are being naive if we think such people are otherwise.

As for “the other viewpoint” in politics… it is increasingly disappearing. We are becoming a one party system. This is not good for anyone.

I would like to have intelligent, reasonable debate. Who is absolutely on the right, anyway? Surely, we need reasonable debate on all matters.

But, as this now stands, I don’t see reasonable debate coming from the Left. At all.

    They are long gone.

In looking at the posts on this article at the Swamp, I am amazed at the stupidity of these people. Dangerously they think there is no war on terror and are perfectly willing to put our lives on the line for their ideology. That is what I resent most of all. Why do they not question their belief in this matter? Surely they can’t take it upon themselves to decide whether we live or die? It takes enormous conceit to make this decision and never question whether they are wrong or not. However, they are not in power to make this decision so for the moment we are doing everything to make us safe. Heaven help us if these people get into power. We will be toast.

Barbara, we’ll know in 62 days whether that will change. Either way, I’m glad I live out in fly-over country.
