Lousy Market?

Published by at 10:48 am under 2006 Elections,All General Discussions

Jobless rate dips to 4.7% – to bad dems. Full employment, low inflation, dropping gas prices and high consumer spending…..

Thanks President Bush! We owe you one.

Don’t expect to see that on the cover of Time magazine.

Don’t expect to see that contrasted… with all of the other countries out there… in the media, ever.

I wonder, how is France and Germany doing today, anyway?

And Russia and so many other of our “friends”.

No, don’t expect to hear much about the jobless rate but do expect to hear a lot of stories the coming couple months on the working poor, the healthcare “crisis”, the underemployed and so forth as the press attempts to belittle what is actually an impressive economic performance for the last few years considering the economic downturn which started prior to the administration, 9-11, the largest natural disaster in the nation’s recent history, high energy costs, the constant threat of terror and two wars. Why the republicans aren’t out there promoting this is mind boggling. They should get out there and say, yes I voted for Bush’s tax cuts and these results are why.
