Democrat Calls For Presidential Assissination

Published by at 2:34 pm under All General Discussions

I am simply stunned that a major political figure in either party would discuss the possible assissination of our President as a good thing to do (H/T Michelle Malkin):

State Comptroller Alan Hevesi publicly apologized Thursday for a “beyond dumb” remark about “putting a bullet between the president’s eyes.”

The man should be forced to resign his office and never be seen in politics again.  And how did he come to make this remark?

The comptroller said he was merely trying to convey that Sen. Charles Schumer has strength and courage to stand up to the president.

So all he did was call for Schumer to kill the President?  This is inexcusable.

Sadly, this is all too normal for Democrats. It is like how good people try to think right and never talk behind anyone’s back. Their words are always consistent.

Democrats are always saying this kind of thing… from the young wing nuts to the older… wingnuts. Older, sophisticated wingnuts.

Their arguments generally consist of “Bush is stupid”, “I wish Bush would die”, and so forth.

    This is a sick country.

They get polite, usually, when they know their words will be taken accounting for… like with the media. But privately they do this.

It is one thing for some young, naive leftist idiot to utter such inanities… but I see sophisticated, older professionals do this. This is how they all talk privately.

That is their politics. There is no reasoning involved there. The only intellectualism present in Leftist politics is the intellectualization of lying. Their smartest people are always hard at work at producing new forms of libel. This material is designed to make the reader feel themselves to be superior, not because of the righteousness of the arguments… but because of the extraordinary deviousness.

    Harsh? Reality.

    “Assassination” was spell wrong, btw.

    AJ,

And this is why, despite your disclaimers and preferences, you will end up voting Republican again. The Dems are losing touch with reality and could soon turn into a parody of the 1980s British Labour Party.

    DonkatSU,

You would be surprised how many moderate dems are out there. What is the difference between Casey and Santorum regarding abortion? Nothing. If Santorum went overboard on immigration I would dump him in a heartbeat.

    AJ,

I would like to believe you, but I fear that much damage has already been done. Even reasonable people froth when talking about Republicans here is DC, and these are pretty well-off folks driving V-8 engined foreign cars. Even if they have mostly moderate positions on most issues, they have to start out with a ritualistic denunciation of the Evil Buesch and his acolytes (or puppetmasters, depends on which version of the tinfoil hat story you believe). A lot of moderate Dems have become like the moderate Muslims, afraid to stick their heads above the parapet, lest they get shot at. The fact is that the party organization is increasingly in the hands of the nutjobs, so that the moderates cannot find a reasonable voice.

I am once again going to propose that we civilize political discourse in the USA with a simple regulation – replace all car radios with a 10 CD changer – all baroque era or Mozart music. No rap, no C&W no talk radio, news weather and traffic allowed for 120 seconds every 30 minutes. It will calm us all down and maybe we can talk to each other again.

And as somebody with Indochina on the resume, I simply cannot bring myself to vote for people who think I am a war criminal.

I live in Indiana so I don’t hear a lot of that hear, even from people who don’t like Bush. Hoosiers are just not the assasination kind. I think DC is as strange place.

    Terrye,
I know, I lived in Wisconsin for a while. The urban blues think that folks in the Midwest are strange because you would rather go do something (work, fishing, whatever) than stick around and raise the blood pressure with political combat.

Liberals have also become accustomed to the idea that they can say anything to a conservative and that’s all O.K because we are the spawn of Satan. And yes, I have been called a baby burner.

I live in NY State, so I am not surprised by this at all.

It is astonishing to hear comments like this, and we need to remember this when we vote in Nov. Hell would freeze over before I gave the donks my vote and voting third party will only assist the donks, so I will vote for my elephants.

It looks like Murtha condeming and accusing 24 marines of slaughter, may not be factual. Actually far from it because the bulk of the marines appear to be facing no charges.

When the charges are read against the accused marines and one corpsmen, and if my name was not on that list, I would sue that blathering donk Murtha for libel and anything else I could get away with. I would throw the whole kitchen sink at him and put him on the hot seat like Michael Moore is now facing.

Terrye, I thought you sounded like a Hoosier. What part of Indiana? I live in rural northeast Indiana, about 15 miles west of Fort Wayne.

And you’re right about Hoosiers not being the assassinatin’ type. Too easy going.
