Everything Is Bush’s Fault

Published by at 8:23 am under 2006 Elections,All General Discussions

There is no news in pointing out the emotional tirade going through the far right these days.  Between the left and right, us poor souls here in the middle here nothing but “it’s all Bush’s fault’.  I have not seen any news worth discussing in days because the news is rehashes of same old whines I have seen for over a year.  Katrina was Bush’s fault.  Overspending by the government was Bush’s fault.  Failure of schools is Bush’s fault.  My aching muscles are Bush’s fault.

When people get to the point everything in their existance is bad because of Bush you know the population has gone over the edge of fear and insecurity.  And there is nothing to do about it but let it work itself out.  All the focus is on the negatives.  I call it grey-clouding. Where there is no good, no silver lining.  Just grey clouds as far as the eye can see.  Of course there is good news and silver lining everywhere, but we will ignore it so we can wallow in doom and gloom scenarios.

Which leaves me with little to discuss.  I am not one who wants to keep running from one disaster to another wringing my hands and saying ‘woe is us and damn that Bush’.  Not my game.  The media and partisans are obsessed with this negativity and are racing to see how many things we can blame Bush for.  The blame Bush for 9-11 is coming back in vogue.  Gore is blaming Bush for Global Warming.  And the right is blaming Bush for getting in the way of their deportation dreams.   Repeat as needed.  Ho hum.

I quit smoking a couple of years ago and since then I have gained 25 pounds. I blame the size of my ass on Bush.

    TerryE,

Quite last July and it was Bush’s fault I started smoking in the late 70’s. I am sure of it. And the weight I gained this last year, definitely his fault.

The carbon monoxide spewed by volcanoes are Bush’s fault because he didn’t unilaterally impose the Kyoto treaty on us over the objections of the Senate. I know, ‘coz Al Gore told me so. So there.
