Rolling Up Terrorist Cells In The UK

Published by at 7:55 am under All General Discussions,Bin Laden/GWOT

Myths about a US hand in 9-11 are growing in popularity as many on the left lose their stamina (and some would argue some sanity) to fight:

In the telephone survey of 1200 individuals, just 47% agreed that “the 9/11 attacks were thoroughly investigated and that any speculation about US government involvement is nonsense.” Almost as many, 45%, indicated they were more likely to agree “that so many unanswered questions about 9/11 remain that Congress or an International Tribunal should re-investigate the attacks, including whether any US government officials consciously allowed or helped facilitate their success.”

To fight means to not quit.  The best way to quit, emotionally and for the preservation of ego, is to pretend there is no real war.  That way one is not quitting, they have simply discovered a greater, hidden truth.

Side note: This tells me much more about how skewed phone survey’s have become as people go to cellular and internet phones, and stop answering calls based on caller IDs.  Now I understand how Democrats are getting such high marks in polls and low results in elections.

So we are not at war with Al Qaeda?  Well, I guess then the raids in the UK today are just imaginary then:

NINE people were arrested today in a massive nationwide anti- terror operation involving more than 500 police officers.

Police carried out a string of co-ordinated early morning raids at addresses across five different force areas.

Properties in Manchester, Merseyside, Middlesbrough, the West Midlands and the London area were being searched with warrants under the Terrorism Act.

Greater Manchester Police’s anti-terrorism unit, which led this morning’s raids, said the “extensive” operation was targeted at individuals suspected of “facilitating terrorism abroad”.

It is understood that the operation is focusing on terrorist activity in Iraq. It was not clear whether this refers to travelling abroad to fight jihad.

That would seem to me to be a large effort for something that doesn’t exist.  And I guess that Zarqawi aide who was arrested and admitted his terrorist acts is just delusional himself.  We know about 20% of the population is so consumed with Bush Derangement Syndrome they think Osama works for Bush.  In there world Osama comes out of the wordwork just when Bush needs him to remind America about 9-11.

I hate to point this out to the left, but we don’t need Osama Bin Laden to remind us.  This year especially, since it will the 5th year memorial of that terrible day.  It is not anyone’s fault that every election year, we get a reminder of what our priorities need to be.  Every September we evaluate the words and proposal from left and right in the harsh memories of 9-11.  And every year we wonder at what in the world is going on in the minds of the left.

Why do so many people not believe Osama when he says he plotted the 9-11 attacks and selected all of the 19 hijackers? Is the Bush derangement sydrome that bad?

On all the implications of this I will wait to see the observations of Dr. Sanity..ought to be a fun read.

Mervb, I have found that the supporters of the attacks, be they on the Left or Islamist have always stood behind the attacks, yet often condemned OBL or refused to believe him. I would not say it is “Bush derangement syndrome”, per se. Which is worse: to stand for the attack and deny punishment for the guilty, blaming it on the victims… or to stand for the attack and not deny punishment for the guilty?

I think, like Holocaust deniers, they are motivated by malice. They intentionally take the worst path that they can out of pure malice.
