Note To Democrats: Iraq War Is Over

Published by at 11:34 pm under 2006 Elections,All General Discussions

The leftward dunces need someone to bring them into 2006:

From a cocktail party of liberal contributors in Baltimore to the ball-cap-wearing crowd in a conservative town in southwest Virginia, wherever Democratic loyalists gather, there are five words sure to prompt applause for a Senate candidate:

End the war in Iraq.

How can we be at ‘war’ with a nation which is our ally? Are we attacking the new government elected in the final rounds of elections? Are we attacking Iraqi military or security positions? Folks – THE WAR IS OVER! Move on.
We are not at war in Iraq any more than we are at war in Germany, Japan, Bosnia or Korea. The difference is Iraq is a democratic ally like Germany and Japan and not a stand off like Korea or Bosnia.

You know what I think when I hear a liberal say we need to end the war in Iraq and leave? I see an A-1 dunce who has no business running large construction equipment, let alone being a US Senator. Their motto should be: “we are at war with democracy, vote for me!” Fools.

I agree completely, along those same lines. . . .

Since after the “mission accomplished debacle” the media said we were still at war, how can we be at war with a nation that we occupy, and oversee? Is the Press so ill-informed that they don’t understand “pascification, statbilization” is not an act of war? it is rather an act of third party transition? There were. . .4 SEPERATE and distinctly different foundations of law in germany for almost. . . .I think 14 years in germany. There was an English Zone, an American Zone, a Russian Zone, and, I think, a French Zone? were the allies brutal and oppressive occupiers while granting constabulary ORDER! while the allies helped protect proactive forces who created the new germany, or were they occupying murderers?

Were the modern left in charge? the US WOULD be an empiralism, OR we would have ran away like bitches, and let europe fall into a new WW.

Mr. Jaafari said Iraq’s need for outside military assistance, not pre-set deadlines, should determine when American troop withdrawals should start.

“The multinational forces are not occupying forces, they are friendly forces, and they are helping us to establish security, carrying out missions in the interests of the Iraqi people, and under the authority of the government,” Dr. Jaafari said. The government, he said, wanted an extension of their mandate “until we have defeated terrorism and restored security across the country.”
