Muslim Men Are Insecure
I have said it many times. Muslim men who follow the fanatical practices of the Taliban are basically emotionally insecure. They have to have control or else they go crazy. Dr. Sanity has more on this angle:
Consider for a moment a culture that would prefer to let young girls die in a burning building than to risk having them run out of said building not clothed in properly modest dress; and tell me that such a society is less preoccupied with matters of sex than we are in the West.

This is an old article, and I am not sure that the informtion is correct. I have a vague recollection that this story possibly turned out not to be the case.
