The Rising Tide Of Voter Rejection

Published by at 8:02 am under 2010 Elections,All General Discussions

Well, my prediction that WI would be shifted into the ‘leans GOP‘ category within the week was way off – it happened within 24 hours. RCP now has the GOP at 46 seats, the Dems at 48 (with DE in hand). But a new poll out in the NY-Special election showing a 1% race has Hillary’s old seat in jeopardy. The RCP senate map has been losing all its blue the past month, with WV now a toss up and WI now a GOP pickup, it is clear the November Tsunami is still rising up as we get closer and closer to November 2nd.

Don’t get cocky. NOW is the moment to slam all those close races with money.

AJ, this isn’t like 1994 – it’s bigger. Not a tsunami, but the wave from a Dinosaur Killer meteor impact.

Funny how the House wanted to leave WDC one week early to go home and campaign to their constituents.

So why are they willing to campaign before their constituents when they refuse to host townhalls during the summer recesses?

If you examine the last primaries, the tea party calls goes out, the wave comes in — And of course we get the obligatory ‘surprised’ gaze from the lame stream.

Very tough on pollsters in this environment.

Watch Democrat turnout very closely. That will tell the story this time. I have a feeling a lot of Democrats are just going to stay home.
