Obama’s Hubris Just Lost CA Senate & Governor

Published by at 9:30 am under 2010 Elections,All General Discussions

Los Angeles is a huge Democrat strong hold (San Fran may be bluer, but it is tiny in comparison). President Obama’s hubris – his self absorbed tin ear only a minority noticed in the 2008 election cycle – probably cost the Democrat Party the governorship and Boxer’s US Senate seat because of his little stunt on Monday:

No matter their politics, Los Angeles residents found themselves united. “It was a beautiful thing,” said Brentwood resident Myles Berkowitz, commiserating with his neighbors on Montana Avenue. “Young, old, black, white — everyone was pissed off.”

All this traffic angst was stirred up by street closures as the president made his way from the Beverly Hilton hotel to the Hancock Park home of “West Wing” and “ER” producer John Wells to raise $1 million for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Frustrated motorists took to websites — including that of theLos Angeles Times — to vent.

That stunt, making life unreasonably harder on hard working Americans so Obama can line his campaign coffers, will definitely impact the mood of voters come November. Either they stay home in protest, or worse – they stick their fingers in the eye of the leader of the Democrats and vote GOP.

There is a lot of seething frustration and anger out there in the electorate, and President Obama just gave everyone in Los Angeles a target for that anger. Trust me, that incident could have just cost the Dems the Senate. Not to mention Obama’s repeat performance in Seattle ON PRIMARY DAY in Seattle, WA. Whoever concocted this mess should have realized the how people connect gridlock with government …

I have long suspected that if he becomes too damaged, he will be valuabe to the Left only as a myartar, a “put-upon” misunderstood christ, an image to stencil on inner city walls and tee-shirts.

The “International Left,” those that installed him, might offer him up by their own secret hand.

Redistributing the wealth from the city of LA to the Democrat Party.
The Demrat Party should reimburse the city for every bit of overtime, extra duty pay and any other fees associated with the Lyin Pinnochio “Cousin Eddie” campaign fundraiser.
he could have held it somewhere other than this guys house but “Cousin Eddie” is sopping up every nickle of every entitlement that goes with the office of the most powerful man in the world and greatly diminishes the office by his mere presence and lack of class, character and decorum.

Unfortunately the poor citizens are stuck with the bills for overtime babysitting, canceled or missed appointments and loss of sales due to inability to market products in this man caused disaster.

    Heads should roll!
    Demrat Heads!

Please. He could shoot somebody in the head on national TV and South Central would still vote for him. It’s not a logical thing, it’s “the first black President!”

And sorry to say, but most of the loony lefties in LA-LA land are dumb enough to follow suit.

Maybe Obama is a patriot after all. We’ve been thinking he’s out to destroy the US from within, maybe he means to destroy the Kleptocrat Party from within.

On second thought, nah…. I think this guy is just a self-centered boob who mucks up everything he touches.

I work on Wilshire Blvd. so the POTUS passed right under my nose around 4 PDT. They blocked Wilshire starting around 3 PDT and and reopened Wilshire around 4:30 PDT. My summer intern filmed the motorcade on his IPhone. I wonder if I can upload that video to the Strata-Sphere?

It caused the mother of all traffic jams during the evening rush hour. I stayed late, very late at the office to let the traffic clear.

Now here is the rest of the story. POTUS stays overnight at the Beverly Hills Hilton (John Edward’s favorite hangout). On Tuesday morning he leaves for Seattle during the morning rush hour. Shuts down both Wilshire and Santa Monica Blvds. It took me an hour to get from the San Diego Freeway to my office building, distance 0.25 miles. No joke.

Unreasonably hard?????? Try unmitigated disaster. Manmade of course.
