Americans Turn On Big Government DC & Democrats

CBS has a stunning poll out which underscores my previous post on the growing backlash and threats of violence against Democrats. It seems America is beginning to channel their anger towards their champions in this clash of civilizations were are now experiencing inside America (click to enlarge).

Check out those numbers! 62%, nearly two thirds of Americans, want the GOP to continue to fight against Obamacare! Only 33% percent want to allow it to come to fruition. And the Independent numbers are amazing: 66-29% in favor or repeal & replace. If these were poll numbers for congress this November it would wipe out the Democrats in both houses.

It seems the big-government know-it-alls are in the super minority again. America will once again reject liberal socialism. But this time, by going way beyond the tolerance of We The People with Obamacare, now there is an excuse to make sure this cannot happen ever again. And to achieve that requires we dismantle much of the federal government and push domestic policy decisions back down to the states. Where they belong.

Update: Lots of discussion at Hot Air on this poll.

Two thirds like liberty and freedom to choose … The rest, Stalin would have called them useful idiots.

Our economic freedoms are being stolen with all this Obozocare crap.

From what I have gathered the “threats” have been mainly name calling but this in an of itself is extraordinary as Americans, particularly those on the right-side of the political spectrum, are not the protesting or voicing out type.

I was in a pharmacy the other day and overheard a conversation between several elderly people about how mad they were and couldn’t wait until November to show these people in Washington just who was in charge. Anecdotal yes, but I think illustrative of the mood out here in middle America. FYI, I live in a Democratically controlled state and a Democratically controlled town. Needless to say I am proud that my fellow citizens are not going to take this lying down as our know-it-all leaders had expected.

Okay, just saw a report that Lindsey Graham is still working on the Cap and Trade bill.

Graham is just another Arlen Specter.

  5. WWS says:

Update – I found it. Now I know why Graham is working so hard for a cap and trade bill – he has literally “sold out” and is now taking orders not from his constituents, but from Jeffrey Immelt and GE’s lobbyists:

This is *exactly* the kind of thing – policy for sale to the highest bidder – that got the Republicans in trouble last time they were in power.

Graham is a cancer, and must be excised.

This poll is a complete setup. It was taken now BEFORE the o has gone out and made his (millionth) pitch for the plan…so, after, he completes his campaign tour, they will have another poll showing maybe a one or two percent change and claim, “Isn’t he wonderful! Look at the polls dropping!”…like 2 percent is some big deal…

We all know how the Left operates but they don’t realize we are on to them. The harder they fight, the more we see.

And wake up, INDEPENDENTS who aren’t paying attention and see…We tried to tell you in ’08 what this WH group is about…

If healthcare is now a “right” then let them ” deny” that “right” and we shall sue them.

If the “woman’s right to choose” extends to all humans and is constitutional (Roe) then let them keep their hands off of our bodies.

That is use their own sainted arguments against them.

It is a testament to this country that real violence has not broken out. Whatever happened to all those militias and angry crazy white males with their guns—-democrat fearmongering that never came to fruition.

  9. Alert1201 says:

I was gladly surprised by the lack of violence. This bill seemed like the perfect storm of bad legislation combined with all the corruption it took pass it. I thought it would make enough people angry enough to cause problems.

Today Obama “dared” Republicans to repeal HC Reform bill. What? No “double dare”? No “triple dare?” I guess those will come next year. 🙂

  12. Terrye says:

The Democrats really stepped into this time. And it is just amazing to me that they do not stop and ask themselves, why are people so angry?

  13. Terrye says:

    No, double dog dare?

What country do we live in?

Obama had better watch his rhetoric, he is inciting extreme anger.

The way I see it, “Congress, Oval, AND Senate” are all involved in one big Monopolization scheme in which will bring extreme socialism or communism. The fact that the American people have stood by and not participated in any violent acts of revolution myself. I in fact have. I literally beat the “S$#@” out of two police officers on a small island in Maine a few years back while they tried to arrest me for an “OAS” (B/S!) and claimed to have pulled me over for speeding (I was parked looking for a lighter or box of matches and had been parked for a good 10 minutes.) Needless to say, it wasn’t pretty for them. They bashed out my tail-light and I went berserk. I wont give you all the details, but I’m still surprised people haven’t got together and threw down yet. Although, this health care bill did “JUST” pass, when it kicks in there WILL be hell to pay. My family cannot be traced back any farther than when we landed here in America some 300 years ago almost, but we have been here founding this nation since. I do NOT know what happened since the 60’s, but things have got to get turned back around in the right direction.

Is this the possible conversation between Obama and Bush when Bush got in office which allowed for Obama’s racist ass to get his foot in the door?

I also want to add my little piece. Believe it or not, I really don’t care, but it’s true. Back in 2003 while I was interested in learning about Middle Eastern and Asian cultures, I had of course joined some chat-rooms. I found and random person and started conversing because I was speaking about America, and how as a growing child in this country I have been concerned for it’s welfare and well-being for a long time. I liked to get other nationalities opinions of the US Government. Well, he said there was a Double Agent of a sort in the U.S., or Spy, he told me to call it what I wanted. I asked who is it. He said he couldn’t tell me, but he would be president in 2008. I told him he couldn’t possibly know that and he was insane. He told me, “No, seriously. You have absolutely NO IDEA what you are in for.” only not so polite. I have always been good with software and am a IT Security hobbyist, and had nothing to do at the time but hack, track, crack, and create spam and mal-ware. I tracked him down via his I.P. He was located in a very remote part in Kenya (which made me at the time think he re-routing his IP somehow, maybe Proxy, so I pinged it. It had all normal ports open XD. So, death happened to his machine, inevitably. I did not pull any personal information, I’m not interested in that. I’m only interested in security, justice, creation, innovation, and research.

“Hey, lets print millions of dollars that we don’t have the gold for to keep up with inflation. In the mean time, I also want to give $8 trillion in my first year to a pointless war that we started right under our peoples noses, cause a major stock market crash to further the complexity of our stealing the gold from the nation that was under WTC and rid ourselves of an extremist nation because we might as well, right? Major banks and corporations for helping us scheme up this plan for world domination and absolute power, a health-care plan to decide who lives, who dies, and where are they all, and also give some to those companies that we invested in so we can make millions and cash it in for Euro’s or CDR’s before we really do crash, because we all know we’re in a bubble! HAHA.”
