Stunning: NASA GISS Admits No Evidence of AGW In The US, Won’t Be For Decades!

It is amazing what you find when you pull back the PR spin from public facade of the AGW crowd and they become honest about the global warming canard. In my previous post I discovered Jim Hansen of NASA GISS noting the US temperature data is so noisy (yet it is the most accurate, most measured in the world) that you cannot pull any conclusions from it, and basically the 1930’s and 2000’s are statistically the same temperature!

I thought that was a pretty stunning admission. Until I read further into the email trail up and Judicial Watch (page 71 of 215) and discovered this from August 15, 2007 (click to enlarge)

The email is from Reto Ruedy at GISS, one of Hansen’s top analysts. It is a headline worthy admission. There is no evidence of CO2 driven global warming in any of the US temp data – even though we are accused of being the CO2 generating capitol of the world. What’s more, they do not expect to see any evidence of AGW in the US for 2-4 more decades! I think we could afford to wait a little longer to see if this theory holds up.

And yet, without ANY evidence of AGW active in the US, Americans are supposed to cripple our economy and shell out billions in tax dollars? How could AGW be evident everywhere else but not here in the great CO2 producing center of all human kind? These “NASA” scientists are admitting they have never yet measured any global warming in the US outside natural causes.

Stop the Presses!

I’m coming to the belief that if the UN is pushing something it is a lie. So no global warming, no pandemic flue, though we sent millions to the UN to inoculate the world. Need I go on……let’s face it, the UN will do anything to soak America.

I don’t know if this is headline worthy or shotgun worthy?

There just comes a point where these people need to be shouted down, or worse in public.

While at the same time GISS says that the 2000’s were the warmest decade in history and 2009 the hottest year ever.

    Go figure.

    CP,

Clearly that claim about the 2000’s is wrong, as they claimed in my last post. Their margin of error is +/- 0.5°C! Statistically there is no difference between them and the 1930’s

Which is what people (such as Steve McIntyre) have been saying for at least the past 4 years.

What I find really interesting is how the 1933 temperature keeps changing. Over the past several years, the 1933 temperature has “cooled” considerably.

They keep adjusting older records cooler over time while they adjust modern temperatures upwards.

Anyhow. Anthony replays an earlier posting today from Bob Tisdale who last year predicted that exactly this scenario would come to pass.

A likely cause could be contrails, but that seemed to work the other way around in the week after 9-11. CO2 actually gets lost in the background of water vapor and has a very narrow absorption band to it.
And we look to be entering a Maunder Minimum period, which would cloak any AGW for the next 30 years at least. Hell AGW could turn out to be a good thing.
Over the Pacific soot looks to be trumping CO2. Would it not be a hoot, if soot turned out to be the best and cheapest way to address AGW !
?Burn more coal and DON’T scrub the unburned carbon out of it?

  12. Are the folks at NOAA and NASA global warming co-conspirators?…

Yes, esp. for PeeB.S., silence is golden– Except when it comes to out and out propaganda. In the lead up to Copenhagen, on the PBS Newshour Margaret Warner interviewed the UN’s de Boer and she stated [18 September NewsHour] that “this huge team of scientists from all over the globe issued these unanimous warnings about the really extreme danger to the planet.”

But not a word has been heard about Glaciergate now that 2035 has been shown as a sham, and Climategate was only grudgingly noticed long after the event.

Now PBS, as an agent of Minitrue, certainly subscribes to the Newspeak of AGW. But if enough of us would complain about their coverage, I believe that they would have to change a bit.

We need to send them articles like this.

The scientist behind the bogus claim in a Nobel Prize-winning UN report that Himalayan glaciers will have melted by 2035 last night admitted it was included purely to put political pressure on world leaders.

Dr Murari Lal also said he was well aware the statement, in the 2007 report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), did not rest on peer-reviewed scientific research.
