Is Bin Laden Facing His Maker?

Via Clarice Feldman at American Thinker I saw this Michael Ledeen story

And, according to Iranians I trust, Osama bin Laden finally departed this world in mid-December. The al Qaeda leader died of kidney failure and was buried in Iran, where he had spent most of his time since the destruction of al Qaeda in Afghanistan. The Iranians who reported this note that this year’s message in conjunction with the Muslim Haj came from his number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri, for the first time.

Interesting…

  1. Osama Bin Laden Dead?

National Review Online’s Kathryn Jean Lopez and Michael Ledeen suggest that Osama Bin Laden may have passed away in December:

Shortly after the war started with Iraq in March of 2003, a soldier called in to a radio station and reported that they had gotten Bin laden. Apparently, on the night the war with Iraq began, President Bush tried to get both Saddam and Bin Laden at the same time. The very first “shock and awe” explosions were both in Iraq and Afganistan and the soldier said the one in Afganistan paid off and got Bin Laden. I never heard another mention of this, but I did confirm the multiple bombings in Iraq and Afganistan on the first night of the war.

Let’s see where this rumor goes. If this triggers a bin Laden tape, so be it. If it doesn’t, then we may have yet another reason for attacking Iran.
