Wishing Death To Our GI’s

Published by at 11:30 am under All General Discussions

What kind of pathological lunatic creates a get well card, supposedly from a child, with a death wish hidden on it? Michelle Malkin has the round up of bloggers who have first hand experience with a card to a soldier that ends: “PS DIE“.

It seems Lisa at Two Babes and a Brain was at Walter Reed when this broke and has a picture of the disgusting item. The details of the visit are here.

This is just criminal. These brave men and women are risking their lives out there to keep us safe from blood thirsty terrorists. Terrorists who want us dead. This kind of cruel act is fueled by statements like those by John Kerry, who compared US soldiers to terrorists on CBS’s Face The Nation yesterday [hat tip Ed Morrissey]:

Sen. KERRY: Let me–I–first of all, there is so much more that unites Democrats than divides us. And Democrats have much more in common with each other than they do with George Bush’s policy right now.

You’ve got to begin to transfer authority to the Iraqis. And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the–of–the historical customs, religious customs. Whether you like it or not…

When democrats and the liberal MSM imply our soldiers are terrorists, Nazi’s, the source of the problem and the like it is not surprising the brain washed come out with brain dead ideas like this. And this is not the first time. Recall the caskets outside Walter Reed?

The leftwing machinations are not going to get us out of Iraq and push us to lose the war. This kind of disgusting act is ALL the leftwing BS will ever amount to.

And we can all hold this incident up to leftwing as the prime example of what results from their brand of patriotism. This is the epitomy of leftwing moonbattery.

Well, looks like when the light of day hits these scoundrels, they scurry away. Hat Tip to Instapundit Glenn Reynolds.

  1. Thoroughly Repugnant

These are the folks that are so supportive of the troops after all. We wouldn’t want to question their patriotism, their support for the troops, or their intellectual honesty.

  2. Donkey Stomp says:

    Dear Soldier: DIE

Make no mistake about this: The hate shown by this card is a direct result of what the far left has done.
