Reid Also Heading Into Lame Duckdom

Published by at 12:48 pm under All General Discussions

Seems liberal Democrat Senate Leader Reid is following Nancy Pelosi into political demise:

About a third of the state’s voters would re-elect Reid if the 2010 election were held today, according to the poll, but 45 percent say they would definitely vote to replace him. Seventeen percent would consider another candidate.

Half of Nevada voters had an unfavorable view of Reid, while 38 percent had a favorable view and 11 percent a neutral opinion.

Liberal policies of massive deficit spending without any turn around in the economy or job markets has been (and will be) the prime issue going into next two national elections. Lack of progress with jobs is the Democrat’s Achilles’ Heel because they have been assumed to be stronger on domestic issues where the GOP has held the edge on national defense. By failing on their supposed strong points, the electorate is growing in frustration and disappointment. Which is the opening a centrist GOP could exploit.

Is the GOP even going to run anyone against Reid?

This government is getting really scary. Obama loved what the Chinese were able to do. This fingers are in the banks, the car industry, cap and trade will cover the rest of our every day life. And he will decide how we receive our medical care. REALLY what is left? Is anybody else scared?

I noticed two things this morning. I don’t know how they affect
your politics but maybe Mr. Strata will comment on them.

On google news, there’s a story about Obama giving Miss Pelosi
a “thumping endorsement”, if what Mr. Strata says is true, shouldn’t
Obama try to stay clear of this fight with the CIA?

Also I see that the voters of California have rejected the governor’s
    proposals to raise extra taxes.

    I wonder now what?
