When Did The UN Grow A Spine On Iran?

Published by at 12:52 pm under All General Discussions,Iran

Did the exit of the waffling Kofi Anan allow the UN to grow a spine and slap sanctions on Iran? Or was it the mad rantings of Ahmadinejad finally worried the moribund UN that maybe the nutter was actually serious and willing to martyr an entire country for Allah. Whatever the source of newfound resolve, Iran has been put on notice – and will respond unpredictably, as is the nature of the madmen running the country.

Exactly Good Doctor, and I’m tired staring at the sidewalk to make sure I don’t step in anything.

Ken will be going back to his cage soon for his rabies shot. He can only get out for so many hours a day. Occasionally he chews through his leather straps and gets away from his handlers and gets his French Muslim/English translations books and makes a stab at it.

Maybe when he gets his new brain installed, if it takes, he will get back to rational thought and can stay out unattended for more hours a day.

Actually he’s a little bit of fun, knowing he is gonna come out with some of the most irrational statements, almost all quoted from liberal rags or his buddies at Berkeley or Noam. He sometimes lucks up on a quote from someone that used to be conservative and has joined the ‘flaming lib’ crowd and tries to make them seem like an authority on something. He has never found a lib quote that he will actually defend. Once it is pointed out to him that it can’t possibly be true, he starts foaming at the mouth and throws out all kind of statements and just loses control and starts calling names.
When he calls you a name, he has lost track of the message and is only attacking the messenger.

Close the cage door behind you French Muslim guy.

Sounds like Ken is trying to become a coal marketer as since Santa is gonna leave him tons of the stuff if their is any justice.

  4. MerlinOS2 says:

I have read about 20 articles on the sanctions and the vast majority only list all the exceptions to the sanctions.

Sounds like a pretty empty piece of paper.

In order to ignore someone you have to really ignore them. Don’t just stop posting to them, stop posting about them.

I wonder what we gave up in order to get Russia on board?

  6. Jacqui says:

For those on the left that don’t already believe we are at war worldwide consider this – AP reports that Somalia has been taken over by AQ and planning to go to war with Ethiopia – African region could explode. The CIA just tipped the British off to a tunnel plot and btw the British are tracking 18 suicide plots they believe will occur in the next 48 hours. The Islamists in France have been rioting daily – won’t see that on US media. Many in the intelligence community believe that the polonium AJ has been reporting about was sent to the US and since it has a short lifespan would need to be used in the next 10 days – maybe Times Square – then look at the middle east with the madman getting nukes.

The liberals always prevent us from fighting the small wars and end up giving us the world wars. Feeding the monster hoping to stop him with concessions and occasional slaps on the wrists like these UN sanctions that will do nothing.

8 years of Clinton ignoring the growth of AQ. 5 years of liberals leaking secrets to the NYT and stripping defenses under the quise of privacy protections – we are not reliving Vietnam – we are reliving WWII with far worse weapons.

  7. Sue says:

They’ve arrested the Italian for the murder of Litvinenko. What does that mean? No Russian connection?

  8. clarice says:

It’s an utterly empty piece of paper..they’ve already enriched the uranium. Everything else is exempt. And then there’s the question of who will enforce even these toothless sanctions? And can/will the US do so when it is clear Russia will veto any attempt to do so.

  9. The Macker says:

    Merry Christmas, AJ,
and to all the Bright Lights that visit and post here.

Here’s to a better and brighter new year!

  10. For Enforcement says:

    From above:

“And can/will the US do so when it is clear Russia will veto any attempt to do so”

This is one of those things that will be left up to the US to enforce, so the world will still be able to hate us for doing the things that are necessary that no one else has either the ability or will to do.

Within about 20 years, Europe will be the European Union of the Middle East. They don’t even have the will to protect themselves or their way of life, there’s no way they are gonna worry about anything that will affect the USA. When an A bomb goes off near enuf to Russia or China to fill them with fallout, then they will begin to get concerned, even tho it’ll be too late then. So, as usual, the freedom of millions and the continued livelihood of the world will depend on the US. If the dems/libs/progressives aren’t in charge, maybe America will do the right thing and save the world..

    Merry Christmas to everyone.

    Erp

Enjoy the defeat,;your attitude deserves to: America was not attacked by Iraq on 9/11 but I’m sure Carol_Herman would join you in agitating for an attack on Saudi Arabia whose citizens did.

  12. Ken says:

It might interest For Enforcement to know that well over half self-identified Conservatives no longer support the war-as of at least six months ago, verified by several polls. Neanderthals always get the news late.

Ain’t it amazing senile Americans, on the other side of the globe, know more about what endangers countries adjacent to the Moslem world than those countries!

  14. Ken says:

    Terrye

People critical of America’s alliance with Israel
and the ethnic supremacist ideology of Zionism aren’t
Nazis, otherwise the UN would have been Nazi when it voted to condemn Zionism as racism.

  15. Ken says:

    Jacqui

You say those those on the left who don’t believe “we’re” at war to consider France’s rioting Moslems.

I didn’t realize “we” were France.

Then you refer to the Ethiopea-Somalia dispute.

I didn’t realize “we” were Ethiopea.

  16. Ken says:

    Jacquie

I didn’t realize “we” were France or Ethiopia.

  17. For Enforcement says:

Jacqui, most of the people realize you were referring to “we” as the world. Someone that has a problem translating from English into French didn’t quite get that.

    Ken said:
“Americans, on the other side of the globe, know more about what endangers countries adjacent to the Moslem world”
But Frenchmen right there, don’t. You got that one.

They let you out for Christmas? Don’t understand that, it couldn’t be a holiday for an anti-Christian.

  18. Ken says:

Strata should ban you for mid-sentence clipping. Luckily I quickly point this childish senility-induced tactic whenever you employ it.

Try it on someone who doesn’t visit regularly, simpleton.

  19. For Enforcement says:

Ken, if mid sentence clipping is wrong then I would say everyone, especially you, are guilty. See your post just above mine where you clipped the word “we” from Jacqui’s sentence? I didn’t clip it to change the meaning and, in fact, the meaning didn’t change, only because it was redundant.
You’re just upset because I was saying you are from right there next to the Muslim countries and it didn’t help you any.
Is it childish when you do it also?

    Ethiopea, French for Ethiopia?
    Still having translation problems?

  20. Ken says:

Add lying to For Enforcement’s idiocies. Yes you did change the meaning and in fact Americans score significantly less than Europeans in tests involving knowledge of world affairs, culture, politics. Despite you claimed world travels, you’re a stellar example–for example you actually believed the US could have won the Iraq War.
