When Did The UN Grow A Spine On Iran?

Published by at 12:52 pm under All General Discussions,Iran

Did the exit of the waffling Kofi Anan allow the UN to grow a spine and slap sanctions on Iran? Or was it the mad rantings of Ahmadinejad finally worried the moribund UN that maybe the nutter was actually serious and willing to martyr an entire country for Allah. Whatever the source of newfound resolve, Iran has been put on notice – and will respond unpredictably, as is the nature of the madmen running the country.

Israeli disinformation dismissed by several Government Commissions-you do trust the US government, do you not, as in the Kay Report, Neanderthal?

  2. Ken says:

You have enough of a “heart” to approve the victimization of the 450,000-650,000 innocents of Bush’s murderously botched war,
    Neanderthal…some “heart.”

    Ken,

See that is where once again you are ill informed or just outright dishonest. I pick the latter. That was a translated documented captured in Iraq that was prepared by Saddam’s own government.

Quoting numbers that have been disproven themselves by the Iraqi’s. You are not a bright one indeed. Do you care about the 500,ooo plus Iraqi’s that were murdered by Saddam? No, you don’t. I am writing to Santa write now, to your new brain and new heart.

    Merry Christmas!

  4. Ken says:

Saddam was a supposed ally of America who received funding
until 1993. Any atrocities committed during this phase of his reign
are also an indictment on America.
All government commissions have exonerated Saddam from any involvement in 9/11 and Bush himself has conceded such, so take your supposed “translations” to his desk again.

The stats of Iraqi victims have been verified by the predominant majority of the world’s leading epidemiologists who say the methodology of the acclaimed Lancet study was accurate.

Unfortunate discovery (for Iraq war supporters) regarding key pre-war doc
In the interests of intellectual honesty, I find it necessary to reveal the truth about a document that caused quite a stir around the blogosphere. The document appeared at the Free Republic website translated and posted by jveritas. (Joseph Shahda) here.

Page 6 from document BIAP 2003-000654 is a Top Secret letter dated March/11/2001 six months prior to 9/11/2001, proves that not only Saddam Regime supported terrorists organization like Hamas and Al Qaeda as we have learned from other documents but also they were recruiting Suicide Terrorist Bombers to hit US interests. Saddam Regime was a TERRORIST REGIME and there was no other way but to destroy it after 9/11.

Beginning of the translation of page 6 from document BIAP 2003-000654

In the Name of God the Merciful The Compassionate

    Top Secret

The Command of Ali Bin Abi Taleb Air Force Base

    No 3/6/104

    Date 11 March 2001

    To all the Units

    Subject: Volunteer for Suicide Mission

The top secret letter 2205 of the Military Branch of Al Qadisya on 4/3/2001 announced by the top secret letter 246 from the Command of the military sector of Zi Kar on 8/3/2001 announced to us by the top secret letter 154 from the Command of Ali Military Division on 10/3/2001 we ask to provide that Division with the names of those who desire to volunteer for Suicide Mission to liberate Palestine and to strike American Interests and according what is shown below to please review and inform us.

    Air Brigadier General

    Abdel Magid Hammod Ali

Commander of Ali Bin Abi Taleb Air Force Base

    Air Colonel

    Mohamad Majid Mahdi.

The document is from an air force base commander of an air force base seeking volunteers for suicide missions. Joseph said “also they were recruiting Suicide Terrorist Bombers to hit US interests” in his analysis.

This would have been an easy mistake to make. A lot of us assumed that these volunteers were from the air force and were most likely pilots.

After thorough research, it turns out Talib (Taleb) is another name for Tallil Air Base. They are both identified as being near Al-Nasiryah. We research this air base on global security.

By March 2003, Tallil AB was an air base in name only. The Iraqis had not flown aircraft out of it since 1991, when the US bombed the base during Operation Desert Storm. During OSW the airfield housed Iraqi air defense functions, was in the southern no-fly zone, and had a limited civilian presence. For all of those reasons, buildings on Tallil continued to be attacked by the US forces carrying out sanction-enforcement operations. The runways, taxiways, and ramps had not been maintained, water supplies were brought in by trucks, and a system of portable generators and batteries provided the only available electrical power.

GS says that this air base stopped flights when it was taken out during the gulf war. Its primary function at the time of this document was as an ADA site. This facility housed the ADA sites that were firing on coalition forces patrolling the southern no-fly zone. In March of 2001, Saddam began an intensive program to fire at coalition planes to test the newly elected President Bush. These ADA sites were taken out by coalition aircraft many times in March of 2001. Indeed, serving at one of these sites and firing at coalition forces would be a suicide mission.

It is clear with this new context that these suicide missions were not for terrorist attacks, but for military combat missions

    Ken,

You lose once again. You get smacked down on every thread you post here on AJ’s. Must really make you angry you have no friends and no one takes you seriously.

Dear Santa, please help Ken to be more likeable and honest. If he tries sincerely, please bring him a new brain and heart. His are not working properly. Also, Ken is getting tired of coal in his stocking. P.S. Santa, just so yo uknow whom I am talking about, Ken is the one that tops your naughty list.

  7. Ken says:

This above is why even Bush, your dear warmonger, won’t go near
    your propaganda, Rooney.

  8. Ken says:

Take your neocon mistranslations and put ’em where the sun don’t shine with the 20% who still believe in your immoral no-win war, Ronney baby.

  9. Ken says:

I don’t get smacked down, Rooney baby-the US troops get smacked down for nothing-when the insurgents who smack them down are finally given amnesty by the new Iraqi government as part of a peace deal, maybe you’ll regret your impudence.

  10. roonent1 says:

    Ken,

Once again you are outright dishonest. The person that interpreted the captured Iraq document, Jveritas, did not come to the conclusion you are claiming. All his posts on the matter are at FREEREPUBLIC. He came to the conclusion I stated that it appears too much of a coincidence. Jveritas knows one thousand more times what is in those documents than you becuase he takes his personal time to translate him. Unlike you, he is a proud American and actually loves his country.

I repeat, coincidence Saddam wanted voulnteers from his “Air Force for Suicide Missions” 6 months BEFORE we were attacked using aircraft on suicide missions on 9/11? Not. Only someone dishonest and ignorant can claim otherwise.

  11. Ken says:

“Ignorant?” How ignorant would your dear leader Bush have to be at this political stage of his declining career not to use your hoax as justification to rally the Americans behind the war?

  12. Gotta Know says:

    To all,

Are we benefiting from Ken’s rantings? Is he adding to the debate or free exchange of respectful opinions? If you do consider that you benefit, please keep responding to him.

If you do not, please join me in ignoring him. I promise you that if you ignore him, he WILL go away. I am just so fed up with wading through his postings looking for commenters, regardless of political orientation, with something meaningful or interesting to say.

  13. roonent1 says:

Merry Christmas Ken. Better work on being nice instead of naughty or the grinch will keep dropping by. Santa knows when you have been naughty.

If you do not get a new brain or a new heart, it is not for lack of me trying, so do not be mad at me if you wake up on Christmas morning the same lame, pathetic, hateful, ignorant, no friends, everything is the fault of the US and Israel, Osama is my friend, Saddam was a great guy, the glass is half full person.

    Happy New Year!

  14. roonent1 says:

    Gotta Know,

You are right. Merry Christmas my friend and a Happy New Year to you, AJ and all the proud Americans whom post here and love this wonderful country. May all your Christmas wishes come true!

  15. Ken says:

But of course Rooney baby when you insert “Osama is my friend”
and “Saddam was a great guy” as inferring my sentiments ,you show yourself to be both a buffoon and an amoral Neanderthal who exonerates the US from its FRIENDLY dealings with Saddam for
many years, including helping him in the Iraq-Iran War.

  16. Ken says:

And why hasn’t your wise dear leader trotted out your treasured
“translations” to the media and press conferences to rally the troops?

“This memo was dated just six months prior to 9/11 so there was no way the Iraqis could have been involved in the planning or execution of the strike. Also it is not specific, there are no dates, names, or any other indicators that Iraq was planning some kind of attack.”

Maybe because this commentor to jerivatas was right….

  17. Gotta Know says:

    You too, ROONENT1!

  18. erp says:

    Ken, How soon we forget.

In the name of their God, a group of terrorists came to our homeland on 9/11/01 and in four separate incidents killed over 3,000 of our innocent people.

President Bush has rightly taken the fight to their homelands.

LBJ was a big windbag whose political career doesn’t bear scrutiny.

  19. Terrye says:

This is it for me. As long as Ken is here I will not be posting anymore. I realize this is AJ’s site and the decision to let this little nazi come here and rave is his but this post has 38 comments and they are all dominated by some moron who thinks that when you have to make a choice between Bush and Hussein, you go for Hussein. That tells you all you need to know about Ken.

This is a waste of my time.

  20. the good doctor says:

Listen board by the number of postings Mohamed aka Ken is producing is someone with no life. I tell you he is in a cave….
So keep your postings and ignore him. Half of the postings are unreadable anyways. It’s like walking around dog poop in a sidewalk.
