Hastert Steps Up And Takes Some Responsibilty In Foleygate

Interesting twists coming today. Apparently Speaker Hastert will shoulder some of the responsibility, but not resign and may even hint at future actions for the program. Should be an interesting news conference.

Pelosi & Emanuel Refuse Polys On Foleygate?

Here is a weird tidbit to come from the Foleygate – apparently House Leaders are refusing to take Polygraph’s regarding what and when they knew about the Foley problems regarding Pages (or more accurately former Pages): Democrat House Minority Leader and Speaker aspirant Nancy Pelosi and Representative Rahm Emanuel, Chairman of the House’s Democrat Campaign […]

Maybe The Dems Should Focus On Issues And Not Surprise Scandals

Patrick Godfrey at American Thinker remarks on what a poor October Surprise this entire Foley mess may be. Well, I think it went better than the Dems and media expected, for the short term. But I agree that, with four weeks to digest, this scandal is quickly losing its impact as Dems overreach and some […]

Tyson Vivyan Was AOL Member With IM

In a new article out today Tyson Vivyan states he was an AOL member and that is the method Foley used to IM him. Since this is the summer of 1997 then his story does hold together completely.

Democrats Equate “Gay” With Sexual Predation?

What in the world are Democrats doing with this Foley mess? Check out what Bob Beckel said on TV last night: Democrat operative Bob Beckel said on Hannity & Colmes this week that the mere fact Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL) was gay should have ”raised questions”, in regards to his communications with former Capitol Hill […]

It seems a […]

Democrats Hid Similar Complaints?

The Democrats may have stepped into it big time if what The Prowler is reporting tonight is true: Just as troubling are concerns among some House Democrat staff that there are potential scandals lurking of a similar vein for them. According to another Democrat source, “I’ve been warning my people to stay away from this […]

Hastert Hints At Democrat Involvement In Foley Scandal

As we await the hinted at story about some senior Democrat elected official’s role in Foleygate, Dennis Hastert is confidentally out saying the Democrats (and the media) will not be happy with who is possibly at the center of all this. Hastert goes on the record with a home state paper (holding his TV appearances […]

Local DC Paper Sites Foley As Not Closeted

The idea Foley had to be “outed” by Mike Rogers and John Aravosis is coming under scrutiny from a local newspaper just over the river from DC (and therefore well versed in the local community and who knows what). This is not likely a conservative news outlet. Needless to say the ‘outing’ plan by the […]

Consensual Adults Do Not A Crime Make

I have taken a lot of heat from readers very friendly to this site for keeping up the mantra that Foley appeared to be a sexual predator of kids. And he did appear to be one. Is non-denial resignation and his comments about being sorry has he went into re-hab carried a lot of weight […]
