More Republican Blood Letting

Published by at 9:23 pm under All General Discussions

What is the purpose in this garbage?

Mr. DeLay has a choice. He can accept what no one is willing to tell him, that he has been neutered. He can’t launch a bold new policy initiative and can’t raise money for candidates or stump for them. If he did, he would likely do more harm than good for any Republican who isn’t already in a safe district. Hanging on as he is, Mr. DeLay is preventing the GOP caucus in the House from having a clean debate over where it would like to go and who should lead it there. Without this debate, Republicans will not have a far-reaching congressional agenda next year. It should be obvious that they need more than an “interim” majority leader if they are going to hang onto the majority.

When are we going to stop needlessly throwing our leaders to the wolves because pundits are timid little whiners?

Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on here? I have never seen such venom coming from Washington in my whole life.
Is there a Republican that the Democrats are not going after? We have eight years of the most scandalous administration in the history of our nation, and now this? Why was Clinton given a pass on all his illegal activites?
There are Democrats saying that we are in a quagmire like Vietnam. What I am seeing is the selling out of America by the Democrats as they did during Vietnam. Clinton speaks today to a bunch of Arab students and tells them that our nation was wrong to go to war in Iraq and that is supposed to be defending our nation?
Name a Republican that the Democrats IS NOT going after; DeLay, Frist, Bush, Cheney, Rove, Libby.
And what happens if the Democrat suceed in their endeavors? How many more 9/11s will happen then when the Democrats prove to the terrorists that we will cut and run when the going gets tough.
We never lost a battle in Vietnam. Not one. Yet the Democrats brought down a sitting Republican president over a war started by a Democrat.
Please, tell me that I do not need to be afraid. Very afraid.
