Another Poll Conundrum – Clinton Supporters Not Moving To Obama

Just to add fuel to the fire I wrote about this morning, there is a new poll out showing Obama is not gaining support among Clinton supporters – yet somehow he still leads in the national polls? Highly unlikely.

I can see why the Clinton Dems are not going to Obama. They see in him all that is wrong with Congress. Here is an article found on Drudge. Congress is secretively working on a $500M bill. Trying to get it passed before the end of the week:

“Congress is scrambling to pass the Pentagon budget, aid for flood and hurricane victims and $25 billion in loans for Detroit automakers in a late-session burst of activity that’s flying under the radar compared with efforts to bail out Wall Street.

The legislation is coming together in a remarkably secretive process in which decisions are concentrated in the hands of just a few lawmakers such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Appropriations Committee Chairman David Obey, D-Wis.

The unusual process means thousands of lawmakers’ pet projects of the very sort blasted by GOP presidential nominee John McCain on the campaign trail would escape scrutiny, including up to $5 billion worth of such “earmarks” in the defense budget alone.”

Saw this article linked ad Drudge. Seems Obama can’t draw as many people at a speech in Wisconsin as McCain/Palin can. The novelty seems to be wearing off the Obama campaign.

A commentary article over at pollster that also addresses the issue.

I have been called twice over the past year by people asking who I was going to be voting for. I always tell them “Obama”. You will see Satan skiing down the icy peaks of hell before I vote for Obama.
