Labor Day Bounce

Published by at 2:08 pm under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

Obama is getting a nice Labor Day bounce in the polls if you check out RCP. 6 points in Rasmussen, 8 in Gallup. Word of caution – Labor Day polls are notoriously skewed. I have no idea how this will all settle out, but I would not put a nickel on these results. Obama had a similar 9 point bounce during the Olympics, which disappeared when the polling went back to the normal work week mode. We shall see!

“Gateway Pundit” documents Obama campaign behind many of the Palin smears. Obama has a great war room, they do Chicago style politics…….get those in the race out before there is ever a vote. Biden is capable of doing to Palin what he did to Thomas, if you can’t beat them destroy their character. Let’s not let the Obama camp do the same to Palin.

The media will finally destroy themselves if they keep this up. There are too many families who have gone through the upset of Bristol Palin’s situation. They will put themselves in the Palin’s family shoes and be disgusted with the media.

Of course, the left is past praying for. They are completely lost in their hatred. These are the followers of Barack Obama. Are they so different from him? They are out to destroy this family and force Palin to drop out. That is their modus operandi. This is what Barack Obama has done to all his opposition. Forced them ou so he could run unopposed. I hope they fail. But it takes a very thick skin to run on the republican ticket these days. We cannot let them succeed. Otherwise no one will run and the dems will win and change our lives forever.

In one way it is amusing that they are going bonkers. But this is the party of free love: if it feels good, do it. Yet they condemn a 17 year old girl for doing what they recommend. And teen pregnancy is so prevalent nowadays. Never say the left is consistent. But it is all about winning at any cost. They don’t care who they destroy to do it.

McCain Campaign: News Media Demanding DNA Testing of Palin Family

McCain presidential campaign strategist Steve Schmidt went on the record with the Washington Post’s Howard Kurtz today, revealing the depths to which the mainstream media has sunk in their efforts to destroy the family of Republican vice presidential pick Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

Schmidt said that the campaign has been deluged with demands from reporters that the Palin family submit to DNA testing to assuage baseless rumors promulgated by the Democratic party’s favorite website, the Daily Kos.

Schmidt accused the media of being “on a mission to destroy” Sarah Palin.

Kurtz writes that Markos Moulitsas, the founder of the Daily Kos, believes the made up allegations against Palin and her daughter are legitimate. Kurtz fails to note that Moulitsas writes for the Post’s sister publication, Newsweek.

Schmidt also said reporters are demanding to see the birth certificate for Palin’s newborn.

The news media is treading on dangerous ground with their despicable behavior regarding the Palin family. They are arousing an anger in Americans all across the country who see themselves in the Palin family and are beyond outrage over how they have been trashed.
