Israel Collected Evidence Of North Korean Nuclear Material In Syria

Published by at 10:24 am under All General Discussions,Bin Laden/GWOT,Syria

I was wondering why their was not more outrage coming from Syria, North Korea, Iran and the other usual suspects who hate America and Israel over the Israeli bombing in Syria. Turns out the US used a lot of forethought and demanded hard evidence before it would support Israel’s plan to destroy NK nuclear material in Syria:

Israeli commandos seized nuclear material of North Korean origin during a daring raid on a secret military site in Syria before Israel bombed it this month, according to informed sources in Washington and Jerusalem.

The attack was launched with American approval on September 6 after Washington was shown evidence the material was nuclear related, the well-placed sources say.

They confirmed that samples taken from Syria for testing had been identified as North Korean. This raised fears that Syria might have joined North Korea and Iran in seeking to acquire nuclear weapons.

With hard evidence in hand, which I am sure has been shared to some degree with Syria and North Korea, there cannot be any faux outrage. The nuclear material must have been quite damning, because the outrage at Israel has been incredibly muted. It is also probably connected to why France is taking such a hard line on Iran as well. My guess is there is more evidence in the hands of the intelligence communities of the West. Evidence that has people in high places preparing to make some hard decisions. Terrorists and their masters cannot be trusted with nuclear weapons. The temptation to ride a mushroom cloud to Allah is too great to even contemplate such a situation.

I heard that there were going to be new sanctions brought against NK.

Yeah more sanctions like a complete ban on hair gel, and green ink for their printing presses. The country is so dirt poor the only thing that would help it is if Minny Me was overthrown by his people.

Hello, Strataspheristas — you may not want to jump onto the Syrian nuke bandwagon quite so gleefully.

My sources insist Israel didn’t strike a nuclear weapons facility in Syria on Sept. 6. American intelligence sources say Syria actually had North Korean g missiles at a site in Musalmiya in northern Syria or further south near Hama.

While reports have alleged the US provided intelligence to Israel or that Israel shared their intelligence with the US, this does not appear to be the case.

Since both Israel and the US knew about North Korea and Syrian efforts to chemically weaponize the missiles, so it is unclear why the elaborate story involving evidence of a Syrian nuclear weapons program and/or enriched uranium was concocted and given to the media as disinformation.

In a related story, Israel has now okayed Syrian participation in upcoming peace talks.

Your sources Soothie? You mean Larissa’s sources over at Raw Story? I like Larissa a lot, but her sources are has beens with political agendas who have no recent intel. Your sources, if different, are not even as good as hers!

Honestly, I hope it was Chemical WMDs they took out. That would make the world a lot less dangerous if it was nuke WMDs. Either way, they had to go.
