Is The Left Mature Enough To Admit Their Wrongs And Apologize?

Published by at 8:15 am under All General Discussions

We have a true test of character in front of us now.

We now know for certain the AZ shooter was a deranged, apolitical, stalker who had nursed a dangerous obsession with Congresswoman Giffords. As the truth final comes out, the picture of Jared Loughner is not that of a right wing political zealot motivated by the words of Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh or the Tea Party:

On Tuesday, after a search of the Loughners’ home, federal investigators found a letter from Rep. Giffords’s office in which Mr. Loughner had scribbled the words “Die Cops” and “Die Bitch,” said Capt. Chris Nanos of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. Capt. Nanos, who was briefed on the findings, said Mr. Loughner had also referenced an assassination in handwritten notes on the letter.

The letter, dated 2007, was a form document sent by the staff of Rep. Giffords to thank Mr. Loughner for attending one of her events.

From a thank you note the twisted mind of Jared Loughner concluded Gabrielle Giffords had to die. Maybe it was is 9-11 Truther streak that caused him to take an act of gratitude and turn it into a rationale for mass murder?

What is known right now is that loose-lipped Sheriff who claimed Loughner was the product of heated political rhetoric (rhetoric a vast majority of voters found compelling as they tossed over 60 Dems on the street) has something to hide. A public servant hiding public records from the public:

Sheriff’s Department and community-college officials in Pima County are refusing to release a wide range of public documents about the man charged in Saturday’s shooting rampage that left six dead and more than a dozen wounded.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and Pima Community College have declined to release documents that could shed light on run-ins they had with 22-year-old Jared Loughner in the months prior to the shooting.

The Arizona Public Records Law requires that records be “open to inspection by any person at all times” unless officials can prove releasing the information would violate rights of privacy or confidentiality or otherwise harm the best interests of the state.

Sheriff Dupnik apparently thinks the truth about Loughner and his numerous run ins is not in the interest of the state – he being the state of course.

It is well past the time we test the true character of all those left wing Casandra’s who claimed put a target on Sarah Palin and other conservatives with their outrageous and false claims of fault. It is a simple test: are those who wrongfully accused the AZ shooting on conservative political activity mature and professional enough to admit they were wrong and make public apologies?

Crickets chirping …..

And what about all those new death threats on Sarah Palin – are those responsible for the heated and clearly false rhetoric going to take steps publicly to tone down the heat on her by admitting they were wrong? A true test of character is upon us – many will fail.

Answer is no. They’ve been doing it since the 1800’s and until this time, they’ve gotten away with it as many Americans believed them. Not this time. I disagree with Charles Krauthammer on this one, though when he said Sarah Palin should never have used the term, “blood libel”. He says that the rhetoric was about to die out until Sarah used the term, “blood libel”. Probably a upward tick, then die out quickly.

As for the “blood libel”, she wasn’t the first one to use the term in the last few days and they were ignored.

And with the increasing number of threats, I’m afraid Sarah Palin will not consider a 2012 Presidential run. And I’m also afraid that Sarah Palin’s demeanor will change after this. We may no longer see her in her previous positive demeanor with the fighting attitude that many of us enjoy.

The Dems did plan the rhetoric because they said Obama neeed another Okla City tragedy to get back what Clinton got back.

I think this tactic is failing this time. In spite of the fact that Obama gave a good (not great and not as good as Bush’s at VA Tech) speech last night. He’s got that albatross of ObamaCare and his stance on Islam on his shoulder. I don’t think we’ll see much of an economic improvement either.

BTW, Herman Cain just announced that he’s in for the 2012 Presidential run.

I love this from Tammy Bruce at tammybruce.com:
“For people shocked, just shocked at how I’m not being more ‘compassionate’ and genteel about this “event,” well, let me explain. Upon hearing the awful news Saturday morning, within an hour–even before we knew the number of dead–Barack Obama’s gestapos moved in for the kill–the Kill of Palin and the Kill of Conservatives in this country. For 5 days Tea Party, conservatives and Sarah Palin were blamed for murder. I spent the weekend, as did so many others, not being allowed to grieve but having to listen to crass political smears and libel, while defending those falsely accused of horrific complicity. “

The sheriff’s department finally released the documents. Not sure if they are all of them. The can be downloaded and read at:

One document has all of the incidents that occurred at Pima Community College. All of these events occurred in 2010 with the majority occurring toward the end of 2010. One this that that seems obvious specifically from a YouTube Video he had posted on 9/23/10 is that he held liberal ideologies without a doubt. See below.

Officer Mattocks and i met with Mr. Conover and conveyed to him that through our training and experience that there might be a mental health concern involved with LOUGHNER Mr. Conover stated that he had met with LOUGHNER on two previousoccasions for disruptive behavior.

Officer States #387, the primary officer for this call was speaking with a Pima College student matching the dispatched description outside the classroom located on the southeastern third floor. Officer States had already identified him as Jared Loughner (DOB 09/10/88)(S1) through his Arizona driver’s license and date of birth. As I approached and listened, I found it apparently evident through their conversation that Jared Loughner found difficulty understanding what he had done wrong inside the classroom. Officer States spoke with Loughner for approximately 10 minutes while Loughner remained concentrated on a “Freedom of Speech” Act in correlation to his current homework assignment. I requested to speak with the student and then initiated a conversation. Mr. Loughner continued standing and I observed his head was tilted to the left with a confused look in the countenance of his face. His eyes focused down at his homework and he showed a sustained bobbing of the eyes while looking to his upper left side during questioning. After introducing myself I asked him to tell me what happened today. He very slowly began telling me in a low and mumbled voice that under the Constitution which had been written on the wall for all to see, he had the right to his “Freedom of thought” and whatever he thought in his head he could also put on paper. By placing his thoughts within his homework assignment, his teacher “must be required to accept it” as a passing grade.

That war that we are in right now is currently illegal under the constitution

    January 2010 Incident

One of the female students had a poem that in some way connected to abortion. With no context, Jared stated that we should have dynamite attached to babies. When I met with Jared his mother accompanied him. I asked Jared to help me understand his comment. He said that the class had been talking about abortion, which made him think of death, which made him think of suicide bombers, which made him think of babies as suicide bombers.
