Why Does Wilson Lie All The Time?

Published by at 1:43 am under All General Discussions,Plame Game

Wilson is pretending Tony Blair was duped by Bush because Blair wanted to only disarm Saddam, not attack Iraq. Like Blair couldn’t simply say he went as far as he was willing to go and not commit troops to Iraq if Wilson is telling the truth!

“I think that Blair really thought that he was getting involved in a disarmament campaign, which was all to the good. I fully supported that,” said Wilson, who was charge d’affaires in Baghdad in the run-up to the 1991 Gulf war and later served as an ambassador in Africa.

“I think at the end of the day he was doubled-crossed by the regime change crowd in Washington,” he said.

Wilson is such a pathological liar he can’t stop himself – even when it is obvious there was not way to talk Saddam into disarming. Geez, the guy knew we were going to attack if he did not straighten up and be open and honest. Yet he lied and took his country to war rather than give in.

Wilson is truly delusional. He paints the leader of the UK as weak and gullible while he, Super Joe, has all the world’s perfect insights. It is amazing Wilson can fit his head through normal sized doors.

Poor Joe, he is now realizing his days of fame are gone and he is left pulling a Sheehan, where his claims have to become more and more fanciful and outrageous to get even a rag like Gulf Daily to print his ranting. Your 15 minutes are up Joe. You had your chance and muffed it.

Oops! Spoke too soon. Looks like some ‘major’ news outlets have decided to follow the model of The Enquirer! Too funny. The liberal media is so desperate these days they will believe anything.

On a different matter, Jason Leapold thinks he has narrowed down Woodward’s source to Armitage or Hadley (even though Hadley has now denied he was the source).

Now that Woodward has narrowed the date of his conversation with the unnamed administration official to June 13 and June 16, 2003, the list of potential suspects can easily be boiled down to two: National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley and former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.

On June 10, 2003, a classified State Department memo containing information about Plame Wilson was drafted by Bureau of Intelligence and Research head Carl Ford for Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Marc Grossman and was sent to Libby. Plame, who in this memo was identified by her married name, Valerie Wilson, is listed in the second paragraph of the three-page memo, which was marked “(SNF)” for secret, non-foreign.

The INR memo was promptly sent to Libby that day. Libby, according to attorneys close to Fitzgerald’s investigation, had shared its contents with then-National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice and her deputy at the time, Stephen Hadley, who a month later would take responsibility for not omitting the reference to Niger and Iraq’s attempts to purchase uranium there from Bush’s State of the Union address. Rice, through her spokeswoman, has denied speaking to Woodward about Plame Wilson. Hadley would neither confirm nor deny that he was Woodward’s source when pressed by reporters last week.

However, attorneys close to Fitzgerald’s probe have fingered Hadley as Woodward’s source. Still, there are media reports citing Armitage as being Woodward’s source because, unlike other key administration officials, including President Bush, his Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove, Vice President Dick Cheney, and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Armitage hasn’t issued a vehement denial saying otherwise. But Armitage was out of the country last week and Hadley is a known source for Woodward’s previous books that were written after 9/11.

Well, excuse me for a big yawn….

Does anyone care outside the fever swamps of the fringe left? I mean, why get worked up when these journalists cannot even keep the story straight?

Since the catalyst for the leak had been the Niger allegations Wilson had called into question, it’s important to note that the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research had long expressed doubts about the veracity of the documents purporting to show an attempt by Iraq to purchase uranium from Niger.

There was evidence of Iraqi attempts and there were forged documents – they are not one in the same. What this ‘journalist’ fails to say is the Niger forgeries were held in a safe by Valerie Wilson’s CIA group for three months and only provided them to the CIA for inspection during the period of the SOTU speech. The analysis of the documents was completed after the SOTU, but never changed the picture of a ruthless, inhuman Saddam with WMD technology and ties with terrorists, including Al Qaeda.

This is simply another liberal conspiracy dream wrapped up pretending to be journalism:

Meanwhile, Hadley’s role in the Niger forgeries has been well-documented,….

Yeah, Hadley forced Valerie’s group in the CIA to hide the documents in a safe for three months!!

Boy these lefties are a silly lot.

It was after all the authenticity of the Niger documents that Wilson had challenged that led to his wife’s outing.

Earth to Leopold. Joe Wilson himself admits he never challenged the authenticity of the forgeries since his trip was in March 2002 and the forgeries showed up in the Valerie’s group in the CIA in October 2002. Therefore, unless Valerie showed Joe classified information over 6 months after his mission, data he was not authorized to see, it is impossible for Wilson to challenge the forgeries.

Why do the left wing nuts have to lie so badly? Have the no shame?

Wilson repeated some lies in that interview over in the UK…

I think you have got one thing mixed up though. The CPD never provided the Niger documents to WINPAC. WINPAC had to get them from INR. CPD got them in October 2002, straight from the embassy in Rome, and sat on them.

I have another question to ponder: Wilson claimed to the SSCI inquiry that he knew what government provided the report on the documents, and said which one it was.

Now, when did it become public information that it was the Italians?

If it wasn’t public before Wilson’s testimony to the SSCI, then I think that establishes reason to believe that Valerie leaked classified information to her husband about the reporting, and about the forged documents.

Then you’d have to ask yourself why she’d be doing that….

So it was CPD who squirreled away the forged Niger docs? …the docs Hersh’s “senior-level CIA official” source said was an inside caper pulled off by disgruntled retired CIA guys, which was Vincent Cannistraro’s initial story too, to embarrass the Bush Administration?

Is THAT why they were hidden away in the CPD safe?

  3. Seixon says:

It sure was! WINPAC didn’t get them from INR until towards the end of January… Certain facts lead me to believe that elements of the CPD were working together with French intelligence for a counterintelligence op.

Did the French government attempt to hurt our economy and influence an American Election? Were the DNC, VIPS and the French actively involved in the forged Niger documents? Is there collusion between Joseph Wilson and Levin/Rockefeller and other Democratic SSSI members? I want an investigation!

On Sept. 24, 2000, in a little reported but monumentally significant event, Saddam Hussein demanded to be allowed to sell Iraqi oil in euros only…. French Ambassador Jean-David Levitte, Senior Diplomatic Adviser to President Chirac, pressed hard to permit the Iraqis to sell oil under the new currency….. the move had a tremendous effect on the Euro. Shortly after its initial launch, the euro was trading at around 80 cents to the dollar. Iraq’s denomination from the dollar to the euro in addition to huge sales under Oil-For-Food stabilized the currency on the world markets and provided a much needed underpinning for the currency. At the time, France ranked No. 1 among European countries doing business with Iraq, with over $1.5 billion in trade. From the beginning of the oil-for-food program in1996, France ranked third overall with $3.1 billion in trade. Iraq’s move to the euro smoothed out and even reversed its declining exchange rate. By 2001 the euro had gained 25% against the dollar to approximately USD$1.05 for one Euro….. Seeing that the Euro had achieved parity with the Dollar so quickly and combined with Iraq’s denomination of the dollar for euros, France recognized an opportunity to finally wrest control of the world oil markets from the US. Hoping that the dominos would fall one by one the real possibility of pushing the dollar off the worlds pedestal finally became a reality….. For the French, September 11, 2001 probably couldn’t have come at a better time….

I’ve said many times on my blog that the easiest way to tell if Wilson’s lying is to see if his lips are moving. Anything more complicated than that isn’t needed.
