Media Attacks Joe The Plumber

Published by at 8:01 am under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

McCain wants to change DC, Obama wants to change America!

In what has to be the biggest blunder the media darlings of The Messiah could possibly think of doing they are attacking Joe The Plumber by invading his privacy and airing his imperfections. The Obama fascists are out in full force. Americans are taking notice folks, and they don’t like one of them being attacked and investigated by the media jackboot thugs for daring to challenge the political elite class.

There is an old saying not to pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel. I am sure there is also another saying out there about picking a fight with the mob that keeps you employed and fed. America has a chance to send a clear message to the DC Political Industrial Complex by voting McCain-Palin.

Tom Elia has more.

McCain wants to change DC, Obama wants to change America!

And because Obama just happened to choose Joe Wurzelbacher, the city of Toledo has been trying to contact Joe that he cannot work on plumbing without a license.

Hotair has a post explaining why Americans should not ask Obama any questions that puts Obama in a bad light.

  2. Phil-351 says:

Well, I as reading a lot about the viciousness of the backlash ‘Joe’ is getting. But, I’ve come to the realization that it really doesn’t matter. I don’t care if they find that Joe is an illegal alien. The question he posed is a good one, the answer was very telling, and every Joe the Mechanics, Joe the Butchers, Joe the A/C Guys, Joe the Bakers, and Joe the Shop Keepers all heard BHO LOUD AND CLEAR. The damage is done. Now, they just keep digging by trying to shoot the messenger.

I hope Joe Wurzelbaucher can weather this scrutiny, and get back to his life. The backlash from the Leftist moonbats should let everyone know what is in-store for this country if the DemocRATS get total control of Congress and the White House. Say something negative about or embarass the Obamessiah, and prepare to be annihilated. I agree, AJ. An Obama presidency will be the death of free speech.

  3. […] a look at memeorandum, two mornings after the debate, where “the right” is outraged that “the left” has attacked.   Before everybody self-combusts about how Joe’s life […]

  4. Aitch748 says:

So we Americans need to watch out about asking a presidential candidate any questions about what he will do as President??? Excuse my French, but that’s BULLSHIT! This is totally unacceptable, and if the Left continues down this road and decides to make it SOP to publicize the intimate details of any civilian who crosses Obama’s path the wrong way, they may find that we peons may band together to support one another for mutual defense against these smear merchants. Maybe we should start sending money, or (if you’re a lawyer) offering pro bono legal counsel, or doing whatever else you can to come to the defense of the Joe Wurzelbachers of America. We cannot allow the Left to continue to pull off this crap and reap the rewards of doing so.

It’s one thing to conduct a virtual rape of political candidates like Sarah Palin. To try to do the same thing to a prospective voter, merely for asking questions in order to make an informed decision when fulfilling his civic duty to vote, is beyond the pale, is totally indefensible, needs to be STOPPED, and frankly cries out for the smear-junkie asshole perpetrators to be punished for trying to punish ordinary people for doing something they have every bleeping right to do.

  5. Mike M. says:

Well, of Obama gets elected, this sort of smear campaign is likely to be a daily thing.

The Left has slipped from liberalism to fascism.

  6. dave m says:

Sometimes it’s worth remembering that Adolph H. was a leftist.
That’s why he told Mr. Porsche to make a “peoples’ car”
    It became Volks-wagen.

  7. owl says:

Yep. For a long time this election reminded me of the image of families loading onto trains. It is so unbelievable that people refused to believe they could lose free speech. It takes all those bloody images of Bush compared to just one unfounded threat against The One. If Joe the Plumber needs help, we should try to give it.

Phil-351:The damage is done. Now, they just keep digging by trying to shoot the messenger. My thoughts exactly.

The revelation that Obama sees taxes as a redistribution vehicle could be a real killer for his campaign. Now, if we could just get it across that the “rich” happen to be our nation’s employers and risk takers, like Joe the plumber, and that making these people the declared enemy of tax policy will in the end harm EMPLOYEES, current and future, then we really have a winning issue.

  9. kathie says:

“Spread the wealth”, “taxes are patriotic”, “it is only fair that those who have little, have more”, Americans want to believe that they pay taxes to keep the federal government running, like our military, roads and bridges, national parks, education etc. Of course we know that we also support those people who can’t help themselves, the safety net concept. Social engineering got us into the trouble with the financial markets that we are in today. The idea that one of the primary reason that taxes are collected is to give to those who can’t earn as much as the next person, is despicable.

  10. MerlinOS2 says:

If the situation were exactly reversed the left would be screaming the intentional chilling of free speech.

As others have pointed out , as important as the issue is of the treatment Joe is getting at the hands of the press and the left, it is important not to lose site of what has them in this feeding frenzy.

Partially it is an attempt to kill the messenger but it is also an attempt to distract that Obama basically admitted that he was going to implement socialism under the color of law.

Even the jabs McCain put into his roast speech at the Al Smith dinner last night were right on the money and hit Obama hard.

  11. scaulen says:

Time for a whole load of “I’m Joe the …..” fill in job title adds to come out. Show enough small business owners that they are going to have to learn not to earn too much they might think twice on voting for BO. “BO’s tax policy, it stinks.” I can imagine what the US would look like if he gets in, just look at the old clips of the USSR. Well at least we’ll have plenty of new Russian friends immigrating, enjoying the good ole days.

AJ: Does any of the poling take into account military votes, and which way they are siding, and if the votes will be counted?

  12. OLDPUPPYMAX says:

And this should be fodder for McCain commercials through election day! Will it happen? Of course not. Why, it wouldn’t be bipartisan. Tell the truth about your Marxist, America hating opponent? McCain wouldn’t dream of it! Stock up on ammunition folks. We’re gonna need it.

  13. AJStrata says:

    Scaulen,

Yes, was going to post it later today – not even close 68-23 for McCain.

  14. Wayne at Jeremiah Films says:

I have linked to your post from Joe Public meet your neighbor Joe Plumber

Joe is one of us with a dream, to be able to afford to retire without Government help. We need more Joe Plumbers, The MSM attacking peoples dreams is wrong.

  15. ivehadit says:

I read at Gateway pundit that people are showing up in Roanoke at an 0 rally with….PLUNGERS!!
    Excellent!

On another note, the Supreme court is making me very upset re: Ohio/Brunner.

AJ, can you get Mark Levin or someone smart on this issue to explain what is going on?

  16. Terrye says:

The amazing thing about all this, is that Joe could be any of us. There he is, in his own front yard when Obama doing a house to house approaches with his entourage. The next thing you know Joe asked a question and because Obama’s answer was more telling than he intended for it to be, Joe gets the axe.

Unbelievable. These people hate average Americans. People like Palin and Joe just piss them off.

  17. KauaiBoy says:

Why has there been no talk about reduced government spending—-both sides have made the current levels of spending a given which is the problem. We waste more money than can be imagined and that is where a good POTUS would challenge the first and last dollar for every program.

Taxes don’t have to go up if spending is controlled and limited to true societal needs. McCain should have taken this on in all government departments, even defense, which would have given him more credibility as a true reformer.

Make them justify even single penny they extort from us…..that is why we have a second amendment, to keep the theives as honest as possible.

  18. Redteam says:

    KB
McCain has said he would reduce spending, lower taxes and balance budget. I’ve never heard him say the current level of spending is a given. Even Obama doesn’t say it’s a given, he promises to increase gov spending, with increased taxes.

  19. msechrist says:

    AJ,
Don’t know how true this is and it is not really related to this blog. I just got an e-mail from the Move AMerica Forward PAC and they said a number of media outlets in Michigan are reporting that the Obama campaign is pulling out of Mi. Have you heard anything about this and could it be as good as they make it sound? If so McCain and Palin should get back in there.
