Backlash At News Media Begins Before Palin Speech

It will not be for another two days before polls start to reflect the Palin effect on the national race, but one thing started to show up in the polls before she even gave her speech. And that is the backlash against the news media’s muckraking (you know, the requests for DNA to prove Trigg is Sarah and Todd’s son, the rumors about Bristol Palin being the mother of Trigg – all that crap for the media who don’t get it):

Over half of U.S. voters (51%) think reporters are trying to hurt Sarah Palin with their news coverage, and 24% say those stories make them more likely to vote for Republican presidential candidate John McCain in November.

This number is growing each and every day as the liberal media lose their collective minds and sense of balance. And running against the entrenched DC interests AND the defunct news media is not going to hurt ANY campaign.

I noticed she was looking down during applauses and shuffling papers. I thought maybe she had decided not to use a teleprompter at all. What a gal!

  2. The real loser last night, after Sarah Palin performed a surgical vivisection upon Obama Bi(n La)den (PBUH) with her speech: HILLARY CLINTON!

Sarah Palin has changed the Political dynamic in this country forever!

The face of Women Politicians in this country, are no longer the Wellsley-going-Shrill-testosterone-laden-testicular-immitating-Lesbian-appealing-Snobbish-Hollywood-elitist-FemiNazi, embodied by the Hillary Clinton types!

Sarah Palin showed that you can be: Smart, Intelligent, Articulate, Competent, Stern, Forceful, Spine-of-Steel, Ice-Water-in-the-veins, at the same time being Funny, Witty, Charming, and yes, just plain darn Sexy.

She also showed you can actually be Proud of and Love your country, you can be a Mom, a Mother, a Wife, as well as a Politician, and do it all, while looking good!

You don’t have to be a complete fraud, a harridan, a shrieker, a shrill fake fradulent Anti-American Nutbag, a la Hillary and her FemiNazi ilk.

Thank You Sarah, frankly, I wish you were at the TOP of the Republican ticket.

The bitter, man-hating, snobbish, arrogant Hillary-types are crapping in their panties; Sarah Palin absolutely destroyed them, hopefully forever, last night!

Dale, don’t worry about Sarah being at the top of the ticket. In 8 (maybe even 4!) years, she will be.

The Dem’s are making a huge mistake by trying to frame their arguments in terms of Sarah’s experience vs. Obama’s. First, they’re roughly comparable, with the executive edge to Sarah; but more importantly, anyone who is truly concerned with experience as a qualifaction has to say “wait a minute – doesn’t all this experience talk mean that McCain is the only qualified choice?”

And again, the beauty of this is that it is the DEMS who are pushing this line of argument, not McCain! Maybe he’s using a Jeddi mind trick on them or something.

I have, by and large, given up on our mainstream media (ever since the utterly revolting coverage of hurricane Katrina). And, given the downward spiral of once mighty media institutions like the New York Times, I believe many others have given up on them too.

These days I have taken steps to ensure that not ** one cent ** of my money goes to support any of these media enterprises, including:

    * Declining to accept “free” newspapers at hotels (particularly the odious and ubiquitous “USA Today”). Ask for a refund of the money it costs them to supply you a newspaper (likely buried in your room bill), or suggest they start a fund where this money can be given to charity instead.

    * Removing expanded cable (no CNN, MSNBC, FOX, Headlice News, etc.). This saves me at least $40/month, which I then use to get high speed internet for my home.

    * No national newspapers, news magazines, and other related garbage. Even if they’re “free”. Local papers are an exception.

    * Taking note of companies whose advertisements help fund undesirable news outlets. They will get less of (or none of) my business.

    * Limit internet visits to news sites. Pick one and ignore the rest.

    * Protest the broadcast of CNN news at airports on large screen TVs near the gates. This is BIG intrusion to me since it is hard to block out the swill unless you have headphones and an iPOD. Sometimes you can ask to get them to turn the sound down at least. Hopefully, the “news” TVs will be removed permanently from airports someday – just time and temperature please. If you want news, use your Blackberry!

    * Most importantly, inform your kids, your relatives, your friends about the nausea (or shall we say “newsea”) which is now called “news”. Tell them that you no longer have any respect for people such as Larry King, Brian Williams, Katie Couric, etc. because they do not say or do anything to earn your respect. My goal here is to make the popularity of the news media “talking heads” to be on the same level as our current Congress…

I laughed at CNN coverage. What a joke. They had DNC talking points all lined up and starting smearing Palin before she ever got the podium. After Gulliani’s speech…one of them actually said that they were surprised how political the speech was. hahahahaha. Go figure….politics at their own national convention. LOL.

Wow..that was a very “political” speech. hahaha.

What a bunch of in-the-tank “O” (as in “zero”) loosers.

Today they are claiming she attacked Obama. What a bunch of backstabbing wusses.
