Brainwashing Young Americans In Pakistan For A Career As Ticking Time Bombs

This story is really disturbing. It explains how American children are being sent to Pakistan to be brainwashed in “Taliban-backed madarsa”:

A Pakistani filmmaker has launched a campaign to secure the release of 78 American teenagers from a Taliban-backed madarsa in the country and asked the US to step in to check students enrolment in radical seminaries to close ”the pipeline to jihad”.

Raza’s film focuses on Noor Elahi Khan, 17, and Mahboob Elahi Khan, 16, the two brothers from Atlanta who were forced to study at Jamia Binoria.

When he met them three years ago, the brothers wanted to take the ”first plane back to America”.

Three years later, the boys had been ”brainwashed” and said the madarsa had made them ”better human beings”.

The siblings, who were enrolled in Jamia Binoria, considered one of the most radical seminaries in Pakistan, in August 2004, were well into their high school years when they were sent to Pakistan by their father.

”I am grateful for the safe return of the two American children to Atlanta from a Taliban-backed madarsa but the mullah claims to have up to 78 more in his institution. The headmaster comes to the US once a year and personally recruits.

Be clear about how dangerous this could be. We cannot restrict the movement of American citizens who have not committed a crime. And these young men are going to come back and take up life in America. Will this life include recruiting other young men into Jihad? Will they be trained in the manner of explosives? I honestly do not know – they may just become devout believers in Islam.

What I do know is someone is very concerned for these children. Is it really a stretch to believe some Islamist parents would hand their children over to radicals to be ticking time bombs? If you are familiar with Palestinian propaganda that leads parents to send their kids to be suicide bombers, the concept is not all that hard to believe. Especially when we have reports of al-Qaeda recruiting children already:

Update: I am quite aware this may simply be a promotional effort to sell the film – but it deserves a good hard look either way.

Why would anyone send their child to a place like this? Who would do that?

Does anyone remember the 3,000 mothers in Pakistan who dedicated their BABIES to jihad recently? Of course these parents will do this. After all, they send their unwilling daughters back to these muslim countries at 12 or 14 to be married. And they kill them if the girls object. Never underestimate religious fervor. And what about the mother in Palestine who sent son after son to be suicide bombers.
