Bhutto Update: No Bullets

Published by at 11:13 am under All General Discussions,Pakistan

In a prime example of how rumors can run wild it seems there were no bullet wounds to Bhutto, calling into question the news reported in the New York Sun earlier today. The changes in what happened is coming out as details become available from Pakistan:

Mystery shrouds the death of former Pakistan prime minister Benazir Bhutto. In an explosive revelation, Pakistan’s Interior Minister Hamid Nawaz on Friday said that Bhutto did not die of bullet wounds.

Nawaz said that Bhutto died from a head injury. At least seven doctors from the Rawalpindi General Hospital – where the leader was rushed immediately after the attack – say there were no bullet marks on Bhutto’s body.

If accurate, that would dispel the idea this was a complex military operation.

HuffPo has a slide show up that shows 3 shots of Xrays supposed to be her and the bloody sunroof latch and blood on the seat all consistent with the blunt head injury concept.

Trouble is they don’t link where they got them from and I haven’t found them yet to link them.
