The True Face Of Our Enemy Continues To Emerge

Published by at 8:21 am under All General Discussions,Diyala,Iraq

Surrendercrats have a serious and unending problem to face – they are predicting (and sometimes it looks like they are “hoping” – for personal political benefit) that al-Qaeda can still win in Iraq. They still present America as being in Iraq as the worse option to al-Qaeda or civil strife dominating Iraq. The problem with their position is the reality of al-Qaeda’s evil blood lust is coming out. Their comparison is not between to acceptable but opposed governing forces. We are not comparing the US and EU on the benefits and negatives of socialized medicine. If we were the Surrendercrats and their minions might be able to sustain their position.

But the fact is when you compare the characteristics of America’s presence in Iraq and al-Qaeda’s the picture that is forming is so stark that it is impossible not to identify the white hats from the black hats (unless of course you have bet your political future on the black hats and cannot personally afford to have the black hats lose). And as The Surge rolls back al-Qaeda from areas of Iraq, we are see more and more what the true nature of the beast is all about, and it is about crimes against humanity and a a level of violence that makes just about everyone recoil in horror:

Blood-splotches on walls, chains hanging from a ceiling and swords on the killing floor — the artifacts left a disturbing tale of brutalities inside a suspected al Qaeda in Iraq torture chamber. But there was yet another chilling fact outside the dirt-floor dungeon. Villagers say they knew about the torment but were too intimidated by extremists to tell authorities until now.

Stories such as these — claims of insurgent abuses and the silence of frightened Iraqis — have emerged with increasing frequency and clarity recently as US-led forces push deeper into former extremist fiefdoms and forge alliances with tribes seeking to reclaim their regions.

The reports and tips now pouring in build a harrowing portrait of rule under al Qaeda and its backers: mass graves, ruthless punishments, self-styled Islamic courts ordering summary executions.

Such a lead brought soldiers earlier this month to the hidden room in Muqdadiyah, about 60 miles north of Baghdad, the US military said early Friday. Graffiti on the building proclaimed “Long Live the Islamic State” — a reference to the Islamic governance, or caliphate, sought in Iraq by Sunni extremist groups that include al Qaeda.

Scrawled in white paint above a bed in the torture area was a Quranic phrase in Arabic normally used to welcome a guest. But the context suggested only sadistic mockery: “Come in, you are safe.”

This story is being repeated over and over again. Not just for this instance of horror, but for each horror uncovered, each area freed from the Jackboot of Bin Laden’s madmen. al-Qaeda has also apparently halted their retreat, seemingly trying to retain a foothold in Iraq from which to fight back:

And Diyala province — where the grisly discovery was made — remains one of the most volatile regions as US and Iraqi forces struggle to match the clear advances against extremists made in Baghdad and the western desert of Anbar.

The province is mixed between Sunnis and Shiites — often called a “little Iraq” and a remnant of Iraq before sectarian bloodletting partitioned many parts of the country along religious lines. Diyala’s capital, Baqouba, also is the self-proclaimed seat of the insurgents’ caliphate.

“I think that is why al Qaeda wants that province so very much, because it is ‘a little Iraq,'” Hertling said. “It gives them access to Baghdad and it also … is considered their caliphate capital.”

American commanders say they are a long way from declaring victory in Diyala.

Well, let’s be honest about this enemy. It is tough, deadly and willing to throw as many suicidal maniacs at its enemies as it can. But it is not popularly supported anymore. Not in Iraq. The fact is tips are coming into US and Iraqi security forces at an amazing rate. And while al-Qaeda may not be out of Iraq yet, there zone of influences is shrinking – along with their fighting forces. al-Qaeda is trying to hang on in ‘little Iraq’, not taking over the bigger Iraq. And they are not gaining in Diyala, they have stopped running it seems. But they are not making gains. Iraqis are still turning on them en mass

What is astounding is liberal bleeding hearts who begged us to intervene in Yugoslavia and Darfur and everywhere else oppression reigns have turned a blind eye to al-Qaeda. They want to leave Iraqis to the Islamo Fascists to carve up. Their incoherence to their supposed liberal morals is almost as shocking as the new and disturbing insight into al-Qaeda. We don’t have prison-death camps on the scale Hitler created yet, but then again we have not yet (against Surrendercrat efforts) allowed al-Qaed a chance to rule a region or country for 8 or so years like Hitler did. To build brutality and destruction to the level Hitler did requires time and resources. We have denied al-Qaeda that time and those resources so far.

Yet too many Neville Chamberlains on the left want to give al-Qaeda one of the largest resource bases in the Middle East – Iraq. As the nature of al-Qaeda becomes clear, why are people still doing what they can to help them succeed in Iraq? To be culpable, even at times cheering (you should see this sick emails I get from liberals crowing about US deaths and setbacks – they are ghoulish), of the rise of an al-Qaeda state in Iraq would be a criminal act of the highest order. And yet many on the left (and the Ron Paul’s on the right) are proud to propose such a vile future. Are votes worth that kind of suffering? Are seats in Congress worth that much bloodshed? Thankfully we will not find out.

Oh, I don’t know just ask the black population of these United States if they haven’t been pandered to, lied to, and kept in poverty by Dems willing to give them a welfare check for votes instead of a real education, real hope, and opportunity.
Kept them segregated in pulic schools not of their choice because of the teachers union votes that they protect while mandating disinformation education.
Victims = votes for the Dem party.
Today its global warming B.S., National health care non- crisis, great economy being parlayed as poor, that is attempting to set up victimhood.
The racist party is still racist as long as they think it preseves their percieved power.

Doesn’t every one understand, we made the Jihadis the way they are with our torture of them, the sleep deprivation, swim lessons, the free medical care, three hots and a cot, free Koran’s, free lawyers, famous actress’s paying their bail. We made them what they are, we should be ashamed that we turned them into cold blooded murdering torturing thugs.

Wow pretending to be a lefttard has left me feeling dirty. Maybe a hot shower, couple of shots of whiskey and a cigar might help wash away the nasty leftard feeling. Geez now I know why most of them are dirty hippies.

I pretended to be a Leftist once.. typing a scathing letter to someone. I never felt more sick in the head… I can’t believe these people are like that all the time.

When Reagan left office we had a 600 ship Navy. We have less than half of that now. In fact, our entire military is less than half the size it was. And we were not at war then. It isn’t AQ I worry about these days. I worry the Russians might just decide to “defend” Venezuela … and there really wouldn’t be jack squat we could do about it.

I believe Iraq is just one front in the war with Islam and unfortunately i believe it will be one of those situations where we win all the battles but lose the war because the Muslims will still feel triumphant about their victories in other places in the world.. such as Europe:

Europe Will be a Muslim Continent
    by Baron Bodissey

It’s become evident that the West is going to do nothing about Iran’s imminent acquisition of nuclear weapons. The NIE simply supplies the fig leaf, a nice little rationale for a done deal.

Meanwhile, Europe is being rapidly Islamized. The EU and the USA pretend that there’s nothing going on, but the Muslims are well aware of what’s happening, and state their goals clearly.

And not just the Wahhabi Sunnis of the Muslim Brotherhood, but also the Shiite theocrats of Iran. According to AKI:

Iran: Europe will become a Muslim continent, says Khamenei’s spokesman

Europe will eventually become a Muslim continent, according to a representative of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

“In a dozen years, Europe will be an Islamic continent,” said Rasul Jalilzadeh on Friday as he was speaking to the basiji, a voluntary organisation in the capital Tehran.

Actually, the Basiji are a “volunteer” goon squad of Islamic thugs. Their mission is to rough up women who don’t wear the hijab and torture journalists in prison.

“The Islamisation of the European continent is imminent and this step favours the arrival of the Mahdi,” he said, referring to the 12th imam of Shiite Islam.

Ditto crosspatch. Nasty stuff has been building south of us and the ‘attitude’ being projected by some is sure not helpful.
