More On Debunking The Man-Made Warming Mythology

Published by at 8:07 am under All General Discussions,Global Warming

Science will prevail because it is based on finding the truth, not spinning it. The world’s best propagandists fall apart when faced with people with deep knowledge. Only a mob mentality can push out reason – and only a part of the world right now is in the grips of liberal mob-think. So for those NOT suffering the leftwing doom-gloom-we-can-save-the-world fits of frustration, there is scientific results out there that paint a fact-based picture on why our Earth is warming at this time, as it has dozens of times since the last deep ice age:

Mr Singer said: “We have a greenhouse theory with no evidence to support it, except a moderate warming turned into a scare by computer models whose results have never been verified with real-world events.

“The models only reflect the warming, not its cause.”

The most recent global warming was between 1850 and 1940, the authors say, and was therefore probably not caused by man-made greenhouse gases.

Historical evidence of the natural cycle includes a record of floods on the Nile going back 5,000 years; Roman wine production in Britain in the first century AD; and thousands of museum paintings that portray sunnier skies during what is called the Medieval Warming, and more clouds during the Little Ice Age.

In the current warming cycle, they say there is evidence that storms and droughts have been fewer and milder; corals, trees, birds, mammals and butterflies have adapted well; and sea levels are not rising significantly.

The pair spent months analysing scientific reports for their book, Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1,500 Years, to counter claims made by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore in his film An Inconvenient Truth.

They argue that variations in the Sun’s radiation have far more influence on our climate than humans.

Message to Al Gore, don’t try to grasp things your education and intellect were never met to be able to grasp. Leave science to the scientists. The Sun is massive compared to the Earth. It is 333,000 times larger than the Earth and all of its surface is emitting blinding heat and radiation.

The idea humanity could impart more force on the Earth’s atmosphere than this nuclear giant we circle has always been a little preposterous. The ONLY way for us to have an effect is IF the Sun were to be a steady source of energy – which it is not. And we do not have a constant orbit around the Sun as well. These solar system dynamics dwarf our part in the energy equation. And recall that CO2 only represents 3% of the Green House gases (airborne water is the primary culprit – but we can’t remove that without killing off all life). People cannot get their minds around these kinds of scales of magnitude – so they simplify them and then make really silly assumptions

In this month’s British medical journal, The Lancet,
there’s an exhortation from “a scientist” not to eat meat.
Seems the Earth is approaching a tipping point and that
by raising cattle, who fart, we are dangerously going over the
    proverbial edge.

The scientist acutally suggests that people would not order a
beefburger (that’s hamburger in American) if they realised the
    damage they were doing.

    These people are really nuts.

An interesting visual of the difference between the earth and the sun to scale.
