Democrats Cry “Uncle” On Iraq

Published by at 8:12 am under All General Discussions,Iraq

Congressional Democrats realize they are screwed on Iraq as long as they keep wishing, in spite of evidence to the contrary, we would lose and surrender Iraq to al-Qaeda. The reality coming into view for them is so unnerving they are looking to the GOP to bail them out of their self-made mess:

its a mixed picture emerging about progress in Iraq, Senate Democratic leaders are showing a new openness to compromise as they try to attract Republican support for forcing at least modest troop withdrawals in the coming months.

The Chicken Littles have woken up from their fantasies of US defeat in Iraq. Sorry, but after months of wishing for failure, and attempting to insure it by cutting off troop funds many times, I think the Surrendercrats can stew in their juices for the next 10-15 years. They created this mess, they need to admit they made mistakes. Do what you preach others to do Dems – admit you made mistakes and your mistakes made Iraq bloodier and deadlier as al-Qaeda read your cues as a reason to ramp up their massacres of Iraqis to support your doom and gloom cause. Admit redeployment was wrong and attempting to defund the surge was wrong. Admit it, you will feel much better.

You are dreaming, AJ. They will never admit any such thing. They will twist and turn all former rhetoric to their advantage and flip and flop while doing so.

Any modest troop withdrawal…the democrats will scream, “See! Toldja that we would push for troop withdrawal and we got it!”

They’ll make such a huge deal out of it. All they want is just a tiny troop withdrawal…a minimum of ONE!

Kucinich is in Syria praising Assad as a peacemaker. Schumer is still smearing the troops. These people are a close to traitors as people can get without getting indicted.

George Walker Bush: Felon, Liar, Traitor

Months before the Iraq invasion, President Bush apparently ignored a 2002 Oval Office briefing in which CIA director George Tenet provided the president with intelligence that Saddam Hussein did not possess weapons of mass destruction, according to former Clinton advisor and Salon columnist Sidney Blumenthal.

Blumenthal writes that according to his sources, two former CIA officers,”Bush dismissed as worthless this information from the Iraqi foreign minister, a member of Saddam’s inner circle, although it turned out to be accurate in every detail. Tenet never brought it up again.”

Blumenthal also adds that the intelligence from that day was left out of the National Intelligence Estimate of October 2002, which definitively stated that had WMD.

“The president had no interest in the intelligence,” a CIA officer disclosed. “Bush didn’t give a f*** about the intelligence. He had his mind made up.”

“No one in Congress was aware of the secret intelligence that Saddam had no WMD as the House of Representatives and the Senate voted, a week after the submission of the NIE, on the Authorization for Use of Military Force in Iraq.”

Five years, 650,000 dead Iraqis and 4,000 dead GI’s later, Bush and Bushland delusional Strataspheristas are still trying to justify an unwarranted invasion of a sovereign nation, the disruption of the entire Middle East, the creation of a Shia-controlled, Iranian linked government in Iraq, the failure to locate or capture Osama bin Laden, the creation of an entirely new class of anti-American al-Qaeda groups and a quagmire that Bush had now admitted he intends to delay long enough to hand off to the next president of the US for cleanup, while Bush replenishes the old coffers as he longingly looks forward to personally enriching himself while US troops will continue to die and be grievously injured by his imbecilic foreign policy.

    Heckuva job, George.

  5. Jacqui says:

    Soothsayer,

Please call Al Qaeda for new instructions. This old garbage dosen’t work anymore.

  6. The Macker says:

    Heckuva version, Sooth,
Sid Blumenthal was a Clinton hatchet man. Your casualty stats have been long discredited. Words like: “liar, traitor, felon, embecilic” do little to advance your position. What could?

Keep snivelling while GWB rebuilds the ME with consensual governments, which even Churchill couldn’t do.

The inability of the intellectually challenged Left to understand that WMD programs lead to WMD’s is the reason we hear, ad naseum, that Saddam had no WMDs.

  7. Actually, the words “Traitor”, “liar”, “Felon”, etc., apply to the Democrats, and Bootlicker himself; his so-called “FACTS” prove that!

It’s a classic case, of one finger pointing forward, and 3 pointing back at ya!

Thanks for filling us in on you and your fellow Anti-American, Pro-Jihadis Leftists, Bootlicker!

PS: where is your alter ego sockpuppet “THECENTERISABUNGHOLE”??

Haven’t seen your moronic doppleganger in awhile??

  8. Terrye says:

    Sopoth:

You can not be stupid enough to believe that. Do you have any idea how many people 650,000 even is? How many that would be on a daily basis.

People like you just make crap up and the truth means nothing. Back when standing up to Saddam was the thing to do the liberals yammered on about what a bad guy he was. We heard that the sanctions were killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis every year. Now we hear that Saddam was a helluva guy compared to Bush and that Iraq was heaven on earth when the Butcher of Baghdad was running the place. After all, 100% of the Iraqis voted for him, so he must have been a regular saint.

pathetic. And Vicious Sid is pathetic too. You guys can’t even keep your lies straight.

  9. dhunter says:

The insane, “war is lost”, “surge is a failure”,” Petraeus is a puppet” ramblings of the anti-Americans in congress will reap the reward it richly deserves as there is a new payer in town and the old “cover for the rats media “is more irrelevant by the day. Provided some republicans don’t throw the rats a life preserver. I’m talkin about Graham, Warner, the guy from Indiana and George W. himself . Time for the new tone crap to end, didn’t work, they bit the hand that reached out over and over , now let ’em drown in their own Anti-American vitriol ,j ust as Teddy did to a young lady in a lake.

  10. dhunter says:

Should have been “player” as in the internet. The payer is a boy named “Hsu” that is a fugitive money launderer on the run or victim of Arkancide that the old media cares not a wit about.

  11. BarbaraS says:

Did anyone see the panel of ex -military generals and policemen who said we need to downsize the troops in Iraq? I wonder who ordered this crap. We’s getting all kinds of good news from Iraq and these sock puppets want to mess things up. We know who bought them. And how do they know anything about Iraq. I doubt if they have even been there. They are probably all arm-chair generals of the democratic party.

  12. Terrye says:

    Barbara:

They are hoping for jobs in Hillary’s administration.

I think the thing that annoys me the most is that these people seem to think that Bush would not bring those troops home if he could. Of course he would. It could only help him and his administration to be able to cut the numbers of troops in Iraq, if he doesn’t it is because he can’t.

  13. lurker9876 says:

    Guess Soothsayer is a MISRECKONERS.

  14. Soothsayer says:

    Terrye-

I understand that you are factually challeneged and not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but the 650,000 figure (as of October 2006, by the way) came from a study done by Iraqi physicians and overseen by epidemiologists at Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health (that’s John Hopkins, recently named the #1 medical school in the country). The findings were published in the British medical journal the Lancet, one of the most respected peer-reviewed journals extant (along with JAMA and NE Journal of Medicine).

Who should I believe – the best medical school in the US and most trusted peer review journal in the world – or a mental midget? Hmmmmmmmm . . .

  15. lurker9876 says:

That report has been proven wrong so do not believe that report at all. No, we did not kill 650,000. You have been told over and over and over that this Lancet Report is a total fantasy, fallacy, full of errors; yet, you refuse to believe that this report is a total hogwash.

This shows why this is a bogus report:

Lancet Report Claims 100,000 Dead as Result of Iraq War

A bogus report published in the British Medical Journal The Lancet claims that more than 100,000 Iraqi civilians, mostly women and children, have died in Iraq as a result of the US led occupation. The bogus report concluded that death from violence was up 58% since the occupation began. Violence, concluded the mentally retarded and methodologically challenged authors, was now the number one cause of death in Iraq. Most of those deaths, said Timmy, were caused by coalition forces.

When asked about the methodological soundness of using a self-report survey of a population that believes Yassar Arafat is a hero, Jews control the world, the US is in Iraq to steal oil, beheading videos are sexier than porn, and that whenever Abu Musab al-Zarqawi kills a hostage ‘it’s the Yankee imperialist’s fault’, the authors responded by saying, “Timmy.”

The bogus report goes on to claim that since the Iraqi Ministry of Health reported that the leading cause of death before the invasion was heart attack, this proves that John Kerry ought to be President rather than evil Bush-Hitler. Former officials in the Iraqi Ministry of Health could not be reached by The Jawa Report to confirm or deny whether heart attack induced by torture and/or Mustard Gas were included in the pre-war figures.

Terrye is absolutely correct with her accurate facts.

Give it a break, copperhead. The more you espouse this BOGUS report, the more it makes you look more and more foolish over time.

  16. Soothsayer says:

    What an idiot.

You want to stack up the credibility of the nutcase Jawa Report against The Lancet?

Go ahead . . . you probably believe in creationism, too.

And the Easter Bunny. And the Toothfairy.

  17. Dc says:

….And that Bush actually had something to do with 9/11

…..And that the buildings were brought down by controlled demolition

    —-And….etc.,

  18. lurker9876 says:

The Lancet is discredited, bogus, fake, inaccurate, fallacy. Yup. I’d go with the sane Jawa report which is credible, not bogus, not fake, accurate.

Oh, btw, Jawa is NOT the only one that discredited the Lancet Report. There are other sources that provably discredited the Lancet Report.

And Dale also discredited the Lancet Report.

    And you still believe it?

    HAHAHAHAHA!!!

  19. Soothsayer says:

The Lancet remains one of the most repsected peer review journals in medicine. You’re continuous bleating that the report was discredited does not make it so. You’re clueless.
