Dems Sink Below Bush

Published by at 2:27 pm under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions,Iraq

As I predicted previously the Democrats are sinking in the polls because of their mindless and stubborn desire to surrendering Iraq to Al Qaeda.

According to the May 10-13, 2007, Gallup Poll, 29% of Americans approve and 64% disapprove of the way Congress is handling its job. Congressional approval is down 4 percentage points since last month, and is 3 points lower than the 32% average measured during the first five months of the year.

There has been little meaningful change in the public’s rating of the president in quite some time. Thirty-three percent of Americans now approve of the way Bush is handling his job as president, while 62% disapprove.

Now Nancy and Harry can claim a historic role as Congressional leaders. They successfully made an unpopular president look good in comparison. Congrats Surrendercrats. Job well done (and done swiftly). The SurrenderMedia will, of course, not get this poll.

The article was in the JUNE 13, 2005 LA Times and his brother’s company is KSA Consulting.

The Washington Times noticed in an editorial a year ago.

There was a blog that spotted the Murtha/Pelosi corruption connection too, again last year. Story got ZERO traction anywhere in the media.

This is the story that never gets any attention for some reason. Murtha is doing what he is doing to keep this story from getting the light of day. Pelosi is making sure it doesn’t get any air to fan that flame because her but is in the sling right along with Murtha’s.

So, you have a congressman who had always been a low-key hawkish Democrat that nobody outside of his district had ever heard of. In a safe seat, no reason to get into the national spotlight. Suddenly coming out with the most extreme and outlandish stand of anyone in the party and I had to wonder why. When I heard about the LA Times article, I began to understand.

What’s interesting to me is that we’ve had six years of the Democrats denigrating President Bush at every turn, and the media earnestly reporting – and many times echoing – everything the Democrats say. Yet the Democrats have managed to achieve bad poll ratings in a very short time, and virtually all by themselves.

CP – thanks for the info.

Yeah, Murtha is pretty smart. He makes himself invaluable to the anti-war left so they can’t attack him without attacking the champion of their own agenda. Shrewed play. BUT once the Haditha charges are dismissed or the Marines involved found not guilty and Murtha is completely disgraced, I expect the media might then pick up on it because his value at that point will be nil.
