Zawahiri Aide Leading Al Qaeda Fight In Iraq

Published by at 10:11 am under All General Discussions,Iraq

The questions surrounding whether al Masri – a key al Qaeda leader in Iraq – has uncovered some very interesting news. al-Zawahiri, the Egyptian number 2 under Bin Laden, combined his Islamic Jihad group with Bin Laden’s al Qaeda to create the global terrorist network responsible for 9-11, the US embassy bombings in Africa and the USS Cole, to name a few. It now appears a Zawahiri top aid has been leading al Qaeda’s efforts in Iraq:

An Islamist lawyer and Egyptian security officials said for the first time Wednesday that they knew the real identity of the leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, as skepticism grew over claims that he had been killed. Iraq’s government and its tribal allies were scouring insurgent territory Wednesday for proof that Abu Ayyoub al-Masri – also known as Abu Hamza al-Mouhajer – had been killed in clashes between armed factions. An insurgent coalition insisted in a Web posting he was alive but offered no proof.

In Cairo, Islamist lawyer Montasser al-Zayyat said Masri was in fact Abdel-Monem Izzeddine Ali Ismail, an Egyptian bomb expert and a former member of the Islamic Jihad group headed by Osama bin Laden’s deputy Ayman al-Zawahri.

Masri, an Egyptian militant, took over leadership of Al-Qaeda and was endorsed by bin Laden after Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was killed last June by a US air strike in Diyala Province.

For the Surrendercrats this is important news to finally face up to. We ARE engaging al Qaeda and those responsible for 9-11 in Iraq. al Qaeda has made Iraq their prime goal and has sent key people into the country to defeat us. To surrender Iraq is to surrender to Bin Laden and his madmen.

AJ, don’t you think that the dems really do know that this has been a brilliant strategy? That George had to let Iraq go it on their own before he could step in? That is was brilliant to make Iraq the magnet for terrorist?

And really, does any war go exactly as planned? I mean, please! The enemy adjusts. Millions of scenarios are possible. I am sick of the nay sayers, especially Bill O’Reilly, who are so disingenuous. None have EVER fought in a war…and they listen to retired military advisers who tout their own world view. They ALL have an agenda.

I do consider it a compliment when the global socialist/communist sorosites criticize George W. Bush…

And I love posting this because over the next 50 years there is n-o-t-h-i-n-g the sorosites can do to change these f-a-c-t-s…

Whap! TAKE THAT you terrorists! Thought you’d bring us to our knees, did ya? Funny, I could write that about the sorosites as well…sadly.

Capitalism is still the best mechanism for fulfilling human potential in the world. Too bad so many are trying to destroy it and make us as *miserable* as they are.

AJ: you’re pissing up a waterfall man!

You could tatoo it on their foreheads, and they STILL wouldn’t get it.

They don’t care; all they care about is “getting Bush”, scoring political points with their Lunar Chiroptera base, and rolling over and spreading their buttcheeks for the Jihadis, preferabley sooner, rather than later…

Yeah, Dale, it still amazes me that the Democrats are *still* campaigning against Bush. It is the *only* issue that gains them any traction and it is “trendy” to do so in fashionable liberal circles where the money is.

Sarkozy is facing some of the same “passion of fashion” in France. What was funny was in the debates the other day Sarkozy is supposed to be the one who is all evil and hot headed and can’t control his temper but it was his socialist challenger who came unglued with little balls of spittle in the corners of her lips.

Things are in for quite a change if the pendulum swings to the right in France. Maybe the trends will change as well.

Either that or they can change the name to “Franceistan”.

I’ve been saying it’s a terrorist magnet since day one of the invasion. Afghanistan was a great place to hide, but not to rule from for Bin Laden. Getting rid of a sugar daddy, and plopping down a democracy in his place was designed to draw all the bad guys to come and die. Easier for troops to protect themselves over there, then civilians here.

The savagery of this, making Beslan look tame by comparison, is horrific indeed, and shows the true face of these evil bastards!

I guess, according to the so-called “Democrats” (= Leftists); surrendering to Al Qaeda in Iraq is a good thing, so they can do more of this??

  8. ivehadit says:

So true, scaulen. We have all known that…even the dems!

The dims say nothing about no more hits anywhere else. They don’t believe their garbage. All they want to do is trash Bush. They still believe someway, somehow he stole the election in 2000 and they have never forgiven him for it. I have never seen a major party in our country with so little input. They actually have no platform of any king except get Bush.

Goodness what would have happened to this country if Gore had won. But one thing for sure he would not have pulled global warming out of a hat. Maybe I’m wrong though, he might have been spouting global warming while our cities were falling down all around us. He is that dumb.
